Q.E. was a gift to the wealthy at our expense (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-03-21/qe-was-massive-gift-intended-boost-wealth-fed-president-admits)

The bailouts (Q.E.) didn't help main street. It helped the super rich and the very people who were part of the problem that caused the real estate crash and the financial market bubble. We should have let them fail.

With Bernanke gone, the remaining Fed members knowing full well they will be crucified, metaphorically of course (if not literally) when it all inevitably comes crashing down, are finally at liberty with their words... and the truth is bleeding out courtesy of the president of the Dallas Fed, via Bloomberg.

FISHER SAYS QE WAS A MASSIVE GIFT INTENDED TO BOOST WEALTH

Which incidentally coincides with Bernanke's heartfelt "admission" (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-03-04/bernanke-finally-reveals-one-word-why-financial-system-crashed)that "my natural inclinations, even if it weren’t for the legal mandate, would be to try to help the average person." As long as helped to boost the wealth of the non-average billionaire., all is forgiven. "The result was there are still many people after the crisis who still feel that it was unfair that some companies got helped and small banks and small business and average families didn’t get direct help,” Bernanke said. “It’s a hard perception to break." The truth, as again revealed by Fisher, will not help with breaking that perception.

We wonder how President Obama, that crusader for fairness, equality and all time Russell 200,000 highs, will feel about that? In the meantime, just like the Herp, QE is the gift that keeps on giving.. and giving... and giving... to the 0.001%.

Just think if all those trillions given away to banks and the elite were instead given to the suffering multitude of small business, and people of Main Street!

The depression would have been stopped in its tracks, and we would have a healthy economy!

The power elite are thoughrouly CORRUPT!

Just think if they would have gotten the government out of the housing industry and had a sound tax code and reasonable regulations!

The people would have the economy that they desire and people would have jobs?

The money should not have been spent on main street or wall street

We don't have the money , we are broke

Or rather we let the failing institutions fail, target bailouts to main-street in a focused and controlled manner (not trillions) and let the market work out the rest. Then the next generation of bankers and wall streeters would think twice before they committed whole-sale fraud on the American people.

The left and right don't work for you, they work for Wall Street.

And what if none of those trillions were taken from those who generated the wealth in the first place? Why they'd likely just go on generating more.

Leaving aside that the money was more likely created by fiat and was fake to begin with.

Most of those trillions were borrowed. Your grandchildren are paying for it.
