NY Times Reporter: Administration Hostile to Press Freedom (http://dailycaller.com/2014/03/24/nyt-reporter-obama-administration-the-greatest-enemy-of-press-freedom-in-a-generation/)

The press is shaking off its awe of Obama:

New York Times reporter James Risen called the Obama administration “the greatest enemy of press freedom that we have encountered in at least a generation” on Friday, explaining that the White House seeks to control the flow of information and those that refuse to play along “will be punished.”

Poynter reports (http://www.poynter.org/latest-news/mediawire/244525/risen-obama-administration-is-this-generations-greatest-enemy-of-press-freedom/) that Risen made the remarks while speaking at Sources and Secrets conference — a meeting of journalism and communication professionals held in New York City. The foreign policy reporter, who is currently fighting (http://publiceditor.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/01/13/protecting-a-source-james-risen-takes-his-case-to-the-supreme-court/) a fierce court battle with the federal government over his protection of a confidential source, warned that press freedom is under serious attack in today’s America.

Maybe Jimmy....had you have refused to play the game to begin with you might not be having to make these complaints from the end of your puppet strings. You sat mute while he tied the strings on, remained quiet while he lied to America through your news outlet, and even though I have some ear for your whining as I happen to agree that the Obama Admin controls the flow of information....you're a tad late to the dance.

Don't doubt it in the lest Peter, have read stories from several reporters about the same, but I do believe Mr. Risen could be considered a hostile witness so to speak.

Kind of hard to take him seriously while he works for the Obama administration's corporate mouthpiece. A principled journalist would quit.

Did you check with Nic to see if the NY Times is a legitimate News publication, it might be just a hack news outlet for the RNC :)

You do understand. Should the next endeavor....whether it be made by Putin, a terror act, an act of God, the next news cycle of interest....Jimmy will be leading the parade of news outlets trying to make our President look good.

They sacrificed objectivity and now complain. You sleep in the bed you make, Jimmy.

I would like to say this is a scoop! But anyone that doesn't know this is high.\

When you start using the IRS to attack people you are basically a Putin in sheeps clothing.
