This is a perfect example of why I don't pay much attention to the media these days. Democrat-controlled media is retarded enough, factor in Republican/conservative-controlled media like The Daily Caller and Fox News, and your eyes practically bleed from the stupidity. This article (http://dailycaller.com/2014/03/28/tv-show-that-mocks-the-tea-party-demands-millions-in-tax-breaks/) is a perfect example. In it, The Daily Caller practically spits on "House of Cards" for demanding millions in tax breaks from the Maryland state government, even as they mock the Tea Party in their TV show.

The thing that The Daily Caller is ignoring, in a magnificently tragic display of stupidity, is that "House of Cards" is a TV show told from the perspective of corrupt politicians, nearly all of the lead characters Democrats. So of course the show is going to mock Tea Party Republicans. It's like complaining that Mein Kampf is negative toward Jews.

Maryland is considering using eminent domain to seize property of the show inside Maryland.

And The DC is totally okay with this, 'cause like, they hate the Tea Party or something.

Our whole tax code is much more about control and political salability then it is about collecting taxes

Okay? What does that have to do with the topic?

The tax breaks mentioned in the lead post? Do you read them or just skim?

The topic is not taxes, the topic is shitty reporting.

It's like complaining that Mein Kampf is negative toward Jews.

This is a great analogy in a couple different ways. Fantastic work.

What ways?

Well, for starters both the parties accused would also be oppressive government forces with hateful anti-citizen propaganda.

When I was young our city had two major newspapers. One morning and one evening. In explaining a citizen's responsibilities my grandfather showed me both papers and explained, "They both lie, Pat. The morning paper is Democrat and the afternoon paper is Republican. They both lie but if you read them both you can sometimes figure out what's happening."

It has gotten much worse. My grandfather never imagined a day when there wouldn't be two opposing newspapers and when almost all of the media marched in step with the liberals. I'm not surprised this thread was spawned by a story in a publication that isn't leftist. That can't be tolerated by the socialists.

And, the story is hilarious. A show wants tax breaks and is threatening to leave the State of Maryland if they don't get them. And the State of Maryland responds by saying that if the show tries to leave the state will seize their property.

And, the problem is the reporting.
