Conservatives in the House will move to replace Speaker Boehner (http://www.nationaljournal.com/congress/house-conservatives-plot-to-oust-boehner-put-scare-into-cantor-20140410) after the November elections. I say good. Boehner is an embarrassment.

The masterminds of this mutiny are trying to stay in the shadows for as long as possible to avoid putting a target on their backs. But one Republican said the "nucleus"of the rebellion can be found inside the House Liberty Caucus, of which he and his comrades are members. This is not surprising, considering that some of the key players in that group—Justin Amash of Michigan, Raul Labrador of Idaho, and Thomas Massie of Kentucky—were among the 12 Republicans who refused to back Boehner's reelection in January 2013.

If the GOP can clean up its trash, the nation has a chance of surviving the next decade.

Which represent the 20% that you speak of? The conservatives or liberals?

The GOP larger problem is 'Reality'

The Republicans "only" plan is to go backwards or undo or repeal; that's not plan, that's a retreat and surrender to managing solutions.

The people who Vote Republican are aging and diminishing, and The GOP is not converting anyone, because Old White Men are not exactly what you call a constituency of the future.

Suppression is only a temporary solution to winning elections, soon or later the sheer numbers will overtake any suppression, gerrymandering or poll tax efforts. The people who make up American Citizens are not the same people who made up America in 1914.

Destroying the Tax Base and Abolishing the IRS won't get you Nuclear Subs or Fighter Jets and you can bet the top 1% ain't going to spend a dime of their overseas money to protect America.

The Clock is Ticking and time is running out for The Good Old Party.

Boehner ‘mocked’ colleagues on immigration

House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) "theatrically mocked" his Republican colleagues Thursday for being too afraid to take on the issue of immigration, according to an Ohio newspaper.

Boehner spoke Thursday at a meeting of the Middletown Rotary Club in his home district in southwestern Ohio. During the discussion, he mocked his colleagues for their unwillingness to take on the issue, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer (http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/politics/2014/04/24/boehner-mocks-colleagues-immigration-reform/8101699/).

"Here's the attitude. Ohhhh. Don't make me do this. Ohhhh. This is too hard," Boehner said during the meeting, which was held at a country club in Madison Township, Ohio, according to the Enquirer.

"We get elected to make choices," he added. "We get elected to solve problems and it's remarkable to me how many of my colleagues just don't want to ...

The GOP is at a cross roads. Stay the same and die. Adapt toward a return to our federalism roots and live. GOP, the balls in your court.

See, there's the problem with all politicians. They forget how it's supposed to work.

They get elected to REPRESENT THE PEOPLE...not to unilaterally make "choices"...not to "solve problems"...He's (supposed to be) there to do what the people he represents want. THAT'S his job

And in those times, groups come together. You hit on our Founders' plan. Make change possible only when it was important enough for everyone to come to agreement! I am proud of you.

Hey, look at it this way, if you can't effect smaller government and you have the debt ceiling at your disposal. Then really, at the end of the day, I have to question whether Boehner is really for a small government, because with leverage like the debt ceiling one really should be able to effect exactly that, fact that he didn't shows how weak he was.....
