Would we be better off selecting congress by public lottery?

Don't be too fast to laugh. If we Amended the Constitution and instead of electing career donkephants we selected could we do much worse. To be eligible you would need to meet current requirements to be eligible to vote. And you could only do one term in your lifetime. What do you think?

Don't know about that but I definitely believe in term limits. All congress critters should be limited to two terms. Just like the president. It would put the kibosh on a lot of the corruption in Washington.

I think term limits with no caveat are better.

Could you imagine someone like Ransom or Kabuki Joe getting selected to a position of power? Good lord. We'd be fucked.
