Boehner concedes ACA repeal ‘isn’t the answer’ Source: MSNBC

Three weeks ago, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) responded with a simple message to the news that Affordable Care Act enrollment had exceeded expectations: “House Republicans will continue to work to repeal this law.”

Three weeks later, it appears even Boehner doesn’t believe Boehner’s bluster.

Speaker John A. Boehner said Thursday that changes brought about by the Affordable Care Act make it impossible to just repeal the health care law unless Congress has a replacement ready as well.

Speaking at a Rotary Club meeting in his Ohio district … Boehner said simply repealing the Affordable Care Act “isn’t the answer” and it would take time to transition to a new system.

I think with all this Obamacare success that the Democrats should run the table in 2014?

The Republicans won't stand a chance, and yet they seem to be winning in all the polls! Only time will tell!

Says the person that posts an article fro msnbc and a graphic from democraticunderground.

If obamacare is so widely loved, why aren't the democrats leading with it instead of running from it?

Of course it isn't now. Millions of Americans are now officially covered. Repealing Obamacare would force them off coverage and scrambling to obtain new coverage. The time for repeal was before enrollment. Now it's time to adapt and find a new way.

Repeal is repeal. Of course they're going to suggest things to better the system once the poison of obamacare is purged.

Not really.

All that they did was agree to purchase insurance on installments. And most if not all of them had lost insurance due to the new law to begin with.

Once it become apparent that, outside of the freebie customers, the number of those who actually paid and got insurance is a small fraction of those fictitious ObamaNumbers, previous polls will become meaningless. And we'll add in those who actually did pay only to find they can't find a participating doctor or hospital.

Repeal and tell the states if they want to have a government takeover of health care in their boundaries, it is their call.

As for Bonehead, you may as well elect a Democrat. He is exactly the kind of Republicrat fellow traveler to progressivism that needs to be tossed.

John Boehner had already conceded to the ACA when he expanded Medicaid in his state.

You mean John Kasich? Boehner doesn't have that authority.
