View Full Version : Police Remove Traditional Marriage Group from Notre Dame University
Mr. Mensch
05-01-2014, 02:55 PM
Notre Dame University employed the police to order a group of traditional marriage advocates off its campus late last week. Volunteers with the Tradition Family Property Student Action were given permission by an official campus student group to set up a table, according to TFP director John Ritchie. The police arrived shortly after the group began handing out pro-family literature and told them to “cease and desist.”
The TFP handout, 10 Reasons Why Same-Sex “Marriage” is Harmful and Must Be Opposed, (http://www.tfpstudentaction.org/politically-incorrect/homosexuality/10-reasons-why-homosexual-marriage-is-harmful-and-must-be-opposed.html) was being warmly received by students and faculty members alike. However, several pro-homosexual students ripped up the flier, shouted obscenities, and expressed their desire to deprive the pro-true marriage volunteers of their right to free speech.
“I’m still trying to fully understand why the event was shut down,” said Ritchie. “I was hoping to find a more supportive environment for the Catholic position on marriage. But instead, Notre Dame police officers told us that we only had proper permission to have a table – but that nobody was allowed to actually man the table, which was the whole point of having a table in the first place. How can a table man itself? So we were forced to leave.”

It is a college campus. Lots of out of wedlock shenanigans going on all over the place.

This is exactly why we should do the same to the Gayist scum. Theirs is a psychological disorder that goes far beyond their sexual dysfunction.
I was thinking of heterophile Sam Kinison and what a difficult time he would have today with Gayist interruptions at every performance. Someone like that should ask his fans to disrupt concerts by performers like Ellen DeGeneres. It is a losing strategy to believe we should not "sink down to their level." We should get down in the jungle where they have set the battleground and push them down even lower.

Doesn’t work in Europe anymore, we’ve gone beyond the stage of choice.

There is probably more to who they were and their official capacity to grant that authority than your shallow thinking understands.

Isn't Notre Dame a Catholic school?
Well, that was the intent of the founders but I am not sure the Catholic Church is a Catholic organization any more.
Besides, to be fair about this if you read enough on this you will find there is more to the story than is being told here. First of all the group given permission is not the group that was actually manning the tables. Apparently only students may have these kind of displays and the group involved were not students. Now, the question is would they have been thrown out if they were handing out leaflets for an abortion clinic or to sign up for Obamacare. We will never know the answer to that one.
In all honesty it appears that the rules were broken and that was made known to the Administration.

It isnt about the ideology of the institution; it is the rules of the organization on campus that takes precedent. Just because a catholic institution is anti-abortion, that does not mean that an anti-abortion group has carte blance on campus.

10 Reasons Why Homosexual “Marriage” is Harmful and Must be Opposed
By TFP Student Action
1. It Is Not Marriage
2. It Violates Natural Law
3. It Always Denies a Child Either a Father or a Mother
4. It Validates and Promotes the Homosexual Lifestyle
5. It Turns a Moral Wrong into a Civil Right
6. It Does Not Create a Family but a Naturally Sterile Union
7. It Defeats the State’s Purpose of Benefiting Marriage
8. It Imposes Its Acceptance on All Society
9. It Is the Cutting Edge of the Sexual Revolution
10. It Offends God

Other than the fact that homo marriages are sacrilegious and an abomination to our society and culture, the fact
remains that these homos get to enjoy all of the benefits that normal people marriages enjoy. Where or when do
we as a society put an end to this madness? Should we as tax paying citizens be tolerant of and or encourage
a farmer to marry his prize-eyed pink sheep, so that the two of them can enjoy some of our tax-funded benefits,
for example? Thank GOD that these GODLESS homos including the sheep loving farmer won't be able to reproduce.

So couples who don't have children shouldn't be considered married? Lots of things are sacrilegious. It's not against the law.
It's not your culture...it's everyone's.
The bestiality bullshit argument is just that. Since when is an animal a consenting adult?

Ever hear of the Shakers, people that came over from England in the 1700s to start a religious movement
in N.Y. and N. England that included strict celibacy laws or rules? While some of these nuts engaged in sex,
the majority of them remained celibate. There are 8 of these Shakers left living in Canterbury N.H.
When reproduction of the human species ceases to exist or ceases to be an integral part of GODs plan for
us to reproduce and multiply, then society itself will cease to exist. You could say that there really isn't
much difference between these Shakers and the Homos of today who both seem to have formed a suicidal
pact of sorts for their kind. Throw in the leftist penchant to abort/murder our children and their advocacy
of euthanasia and you'll get the message that these alternative lifestyles that favor death over life are not
wanted by our society as a whole.
