They should all move up to Seattle. The minimum wage will be much higher and that will create more jobs and move people off welfare.

Oregon allows food stamps for anyone up to 185% of the "poverty level". This could be a family with an income of around $75,000.00. If you take a normal family of four that level at 185% would be $43,500.00

Come on, don't be hoggish. Send us a copy of your daily talking points.

Hell, just post them every morning and then you don't need to be here to post anything, you can just go play golf with Obama.

They are paying the bill off of the backs of retired people.
Tax, spend, fine businesses out of business and wonder where the money went.

You have about as many with food stamps as there are those who still have no insurance plan to pay some to doctors and some to hospitals. Both are jacked off by the government and get hammered into huge discounts.

Food stamps are not what I call easy to get. You must take a number. Wait for a window. Obtain a shit load of papers and read all and insert accurate numbers for your budgeted expenses. They demand full financial disclosure. If they approve, they might start you with $15 per month. Some months later, for no apparent reason, that number increases to maybe $75. Later it becomes $180. About that time you get a shit load of papers to fill out all over again. You will have one or more in person interviews.

If 19% are on food stamps then they obviously are covering the entire 740 thousand who are unemployed and have children. I am surprised that all states are not high in their percentages on food stamps.
