Looks like Assad is laying down the Law while kicking the crap out of the Sunni Rebels. Gotta give Assad his props for standing up to the Sunni and the West. Course Obama spoke out publicly telling Assad to step-down. Making Speeches that Assad has to go. Same with France and the UK. Assad ignored that plus captured French Soldiers inside Syria, Caught Turkish Intel forces inside Syria and knows Turkey is harboring the Sunni Rebel Leader.

All the while cementing his ties with Russia, recieving arms and now has the Russians to cover his Coast where the Russian are embedded. Plus a russian Speznaz Team inside Syria to assist with Counter-insurgency.

Assad hasn't backed down and I don't see any reason he would do so now. He'll keep pressing one way or another. Annan and the U.N. tried to broker a peace but it didn't work...not a surprise.

Breaking News: Tonight with Syria and Turkey.....

Fighting between Syrian forces and rebel fighters spilled over into Turkey and Lebanon Monday, on the eve of a United Nations-brokered ceasefire that now seems to be on the brink of failure.
Syrian government forces reportedly fired across the border into a refugee camp in Turkey, killing two people and wounding three others.

After a protracted battle in which six Syrian soldiers were reportedly killed, eight wounded rebel fighters fled into Turkey. However, Syrian troops continued to fire on the fleeing rebels as they made their way into a refugee camp inside Turkey.
The casualties included three Syrians, one Turkish translator and a Turkish police officer, said Gov. Yusuf Odabas in the southwestern Turkish province of Gaziantep.

The incident is believed to be the first violent incursion into Turkey, though there have been similar cross-border attacks into Lebanon, which also shares a border with Syria.

Lmao even with Breaking News yesterday.....where are those so called new people that have come here to discuss important issues. Where are they? Where is the Pom Poms to rush in and give a cheer, to a pal for getting it wrong.

Here is where Obama is hoping nothing takes place until after Nov. Let alone the lies he his putting out now. Mr. No plans other than to run for re-election.

Seems Assad is telling Obama to STFU.....and you know that just has to piss Obama off. Currently Team Obama has no answer for Syria. yet he is still involving us into these people's Civil War. Why is it the rest of the World calls it a Civil War yet the US and the West does not?

2 weeks and counting. We may get lucky and one of them will actually post up in World Affairs and Foreign Policy before the month is out. Just so they can make it official.
