...All the players wore #42. Respect. Thanks MLB. I used to watch him play when I was a kid. I saw that basket catch. God, I'm getting old. But then, I did get to see all the great bands.

I could say the same with the bands. Robinson was great ball player.

We are all getting older, that's for sure :laugh:...baseball and 42 were great back in the day.

It's a bit silly to see every ballplayer wear #42. The numbers are used to distinguish the players.
I would have preferred to see each player wear a #42 patch on their sleeve.

I agree, it's overkill to have them all wear the number. They could designate a captain to wear it, or do the patch idea like you suggested.
