A new Gallup poll (http://www.gallup.com/poll/153902/Romney-Obama-Tight-Race-Gallup-Daily-Tracking-Begins.aspx?utm_source=add%2Bthis&utm_medium=addth is.com&utm_campaign=sharing#.T4xkaQidRkI.twitter) finds Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama statistically tied among registered voters heading into November's general election.
While both men are doing well within their respective parties, the most notable finding came among self-described independents, a swing voting bloc that could very well determine the outcome of this fall's election. According to Gallup, Romney leads Obama among indie voters by 6 points, 45 percent to 39 percent.....snip~

Looks like they found the appropriate picture of Obama to go with this piece. Notice a few months back all of liberaldumb thought Obama would have a landslide victory over Romney. Seems all the independants are not going for the lies by the left that they have had a plan and solutions for things. We have seen the left pass the buck on all vital issues over domestic policy.

More and more Obama and the Democrats are dividing things down. With a War on anything and everything. Obama is losing the some of the black vote. Losing the Latins. His big play was over the youth vote last time. I don't think they will be coming out in droves like they did last time.

Obama has an up hill battle. The only US president that I know of who has won reelection with such a dismal economy was FDR. With that said, the GOP chose to run a loser against Obama. It is still a horse race.

Yeah this is the match up the media wanted and influenced to happen.....Plus Obama is beginning to have trouble overseas with his policy. Still Obama can play to his strength when taking Romney on in any debate. Romney has to continue to hope that the economy stays as it is, sluggish and no job creation.

Obama is the one who has to defend his record. Romney just has to stay positive and point out Obama's lies and failures. We are not doing well.

Definately.....and Romney has to remember to keep looping Obama's own words back into the Public. Just like that BS with the SCOTUS.

Every four years you think it can't possibly get any worse...and then it does. I expect turnout to be very low.

For Obama to win, turnout has to be like 2008. Obama has a record to defend and it's dismal.

True...but I also think as bad as McCain was, Romney is even less popular. I think it's a tossup...if the GOP had run anyone with appeal they would have been in much better standing. It was as if no real contenders wanted to run.
