“Abrupt changes to his schedule can have the unintended consequence of unduly alarming the American people or creating a false sense of crisis,” Palmieri continued.

The real reason why Obama won't cancel Fundraisers is because he's President of The United States and he don't have to cancel Fundraisers because you don't like it.

This is an excellent demonstration of what is wrong with the NYT. They've degraded themselves into pathetic shills for the Obama administration.

The death of the free and skeptical press is a big part of what has gone wrong with the U.S. political system. The watchdogs are lap dogs.

Do you read any daily paper? Mainecoons

I don't.

I get my news from the internet (Yahoo news) then CSPAN, then PBS, then CBS/ABC/NBC. I get to see FOX News Sunday as available on my local FOX broadcast news channel.

I am not clear the year I last read the NY or DC papers. I used to subscribe to our local papers, but it has been since perhaps Clinton's era since that happened.

As you know from my citations, I try to check things through multiple, credible sources. Sometimes the NYT is credible, some times not. The above video is a very graphic illustration of where they are not credible these days, to their own detriment.

The MSM still hasn't figured out that the majority of the public knows they are left biased and is paying them less attention, as evidenced by declining readers/watchers. Unfortunately, they haven't seemed to be able to look in the mirror and realize that they are the cause of this.

Absolute worst. And to think that there were stupid people who voted for him twice.
