With him, it's definitely not for God.

What ... can't go to church and play Golf on the same day?

What's that, a religious belief?

Worked for a guy once, a Lutheran. Textbook anal retentive, his entire life was scripted.

Sunday - his schedule: 6am haircut (how he found a barber opened at 6am on Sunday is beyond me), 7am - tee time, 18 holes, 12 noon church, 2pm sex, 3pm puts on the tool belt and does odd jobs. 6pm dinner, 8pm bed.

Good, then that leaves plenty of time to play Golf on the Weekends

Golf is resting. Especially if you don't carry your own clubs.

Remind me to tell you about the time I rolled a golf cart on an outing once.

Walking the course is rest.

Now I guess if you carry your clubs and pull a large cooler full of ice and beer- that is a workout.

I wonder if they are literally anal-retentive. That could account for all the colon cancer among bootlicking Yuppies.

He wasn't a yuppie, he's retired now. He was my mentor for 13 years, I learned a lot of valuable things from him and avoided his weaknesses which he had like the rest of us.

I liked him a lot, a good man. To give you an idea on how anal he was, you know those mechanical pencils - the P-5's or whatever they were, Pentel? I was an assistant controller for a fairly large commercial real estate company, he was the controller. We had maybe 4 or 5 assistant controllers who were basically accountants. Me and this other AC Debbie ordered a couple of those pencils, I ordered a green one, she ordered a maroon one. Dave (the controller) always used a black one. One Monday morning I'm getting into the office, so is Debbie in the cubicle next to me. She hollers over "did you take my pencil?" where I say "no". I look in my desk drawer and mine's gone too but both of us had black ones instead.

Yeah, he did.

He would always wear the same suit (I guess he had a bunch of them), dark blue pin stripe. Always a white shirt monogrammed with his initials on the pocket and his tie - silk polka dot. You could tell the day of the week by the color (same pattern tie, different color). Monday was yellow, Tuesday red, Wednesday, blue... etc.

Very odd but good guy.

Very odd but good guy. Since oncologists are useless Mamas' Boys who didn't earn a living until they were 30 years old, they'll never cure cancer. So it is important to investigate whether someone's personality causes physical problems that may lead to cancer. That's also why feminists get breast cancer.
