Your Mario Kart 8 Time Trial Records

Okay, I've now beaten the course ghosts on all the courses in Mario Kart 8, so I thought I'd post some of my best times. See if you can beat these! They're not exactly world records, and I didn't get great times on all the courses, so I'm just gonna post the ones that I'm especially proud of, which are the times for those courses on which I managed to come within five seconds of the Nintendo staff record or actually beat it. I'll post the course ghost's time for the race, my record, the record of the people at Nintendo as printed in the official game guide, and the current world record. These times for each course will be listed sequentially from slowest to fastest. I'll italicize my record times. I'll additionally place asterisks around them if I was able to beat a Nintendo staff record, as I was able to do so on four courses.

(The world records, incidentally, are positively insane. You can't both set one and have a life apart from Mario Kart 8. I don't even try for those, and neither should any sane human being. Anyway, all my records were set with Rosalina, either the Sport Bike or Comet (which have the same stats), and one of the slick wheels, in case you're wondering.)

Again, the above challenge is to see if you can beat any of MY record times! If you're aiming for the world records, don't. Why not? Here's a sampling of how ridiculously over-the-top perfect you have to be to set one at this point. ...Yeah, good luck with that! As you can see, you can't even stay on the road and set a world record at this point! You have to curve your vehicle so far to the inside of the turns that most of your vehicle is actually off the road throughout, and you have to hop constantly through the whole race while maintaining a perfectly straight racing line, so unless you're either superhuman or have no life apart from this game, I recommend just trying for MY records. :wink:
