Nuttin to do with anything...but my houseguests bought a dozen Krispy Kream doughnuts yesterday. There was one left in the box and I just finished it off. I'm currently enjoying a southern sugar high. Life is good & sweet! Look at this and suffer:

You should try them in Colorado! It's a double win.

I scoffed at the very idea that a "chain" doughnut could be all that good. Then I had one. That just pissed me off because they need to be eaten in groups of three to four.:toothy12:

No, no, no Dunkin Donuts are much better. Boston cream donut, and hot coffee. All is right with the world.

I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree...ain't nuttin like a Krispy Kream with that coffee! (maybe its a regional thing?)

Not a big donut fan or any sweets for that matter.

Every once in a while I crave ice cream though. The dairy bar up the road has a sugar free flavor of the month and they aren't bad.

We are blessed to have some do-nut shops that put Krispy Kream to shame. I think we still do have a Krispy cream but It has been a dozen years that I last was there.

Vasy's is within walking distance and those stick with you forever.

They have great donuts. I like the plain cake(surprise huh?) but the raised ones are REALLY BIG and VERY tasty!

I am amused when people think Krispy Kream is a real good donut. They never tried them from Vasy's or Lloyd's donut kitchen. When Krispy Kream showed up, I hoped they were as great as some said. I was just misled.

Chris could attest to this - Texas is the donut capital of the world.

My SIL all 280 pounds of her keeps a box of Krispy Kreams on her stair stepper as she exercises. She says there's logic there, I can't see it.

I treat myself to a DD about every two months. Just one and coffee. It's a real treat.

whew! sounds likes like an addiction. I limit my drug of choice (KK's) to about 1 every 6 months. I don't even have 'em in the house! I know my limitations!
