In a hit and run murder. She not only has two felonies, but she spends no jail time and is not deported. We've been lied too again. We have been assured by the lying Obama that criminal illegals will be deported.

I care as much as everyone else here cares about innocent "people" not receiving justus.
How about that?
it was a hit and run
it wasn't murder
the victims' parents asked that she not be sent to jail, go yell at them.

So? The American citizens paid into the tax system at some point for their own incarceration.

Here is how I feel as an immigrant...we managed to do it legally, though it took longer. We filled out all the same paperwork as other legal immigrants. We waited. We even came separately.
I personally don't find it fair that people skipped the line, so to speak.
That said, this is not atypical for Americans or for illegals because it saves the state a lot of money.

i agree with you, but i don't know what choice a child has in the matter.

no, i struggle with this one, too. i think about the kids, but at the same time if they are deported they go with their families. it's no different than immigration.
my brother and i did not have the perception of "communism" that my parents did and we did not want to come here. it was leaving friends and family behind. i'm sure the kids moving back to Mexico won't like it either, but at the same time if you're with family its possible to make a happy life.
and they can always come back.

When a felony is committed it's the state vs the criminal. The parents don't get to say. If the state honored a request from the parents then the state was derelict. Hit and run is a felony.

Depending on the laws of the state, it's homicide versus murder. Murder requires intent of some kind. Hit and Run is a felony offense and she by running contributed to their deaths.
The parents are nicer than I would be.

They should. I hate this idea that "the state" somehow has more of a vested interest in your child than you. A child is your whole world, not a number. The criminal didn't hurt "the state" they hurt your baby.
I don't like that.

So if your child is murdered you can forgive them? And the state should go away?
Bull. The state, the gov, is we the people. When a crime is committed against we the people then the state prosecutes for us. Since we as individuals can't prosecute ourselves. What kind of law do you practice anyway?

They can take their families with them.
I mean, we don't NOT send a criminal to jail because they have a family.

The state is not "we the people" and hasn't been for a long, long time.. I didn't want Obamacare and got it. I don't want the Patriot Act and I have it. The state is "we the corporate interests".
I would kill someone who hurt my kid, but I don't think the state has more interest in my child. The state wouldn't think twice before drafting my kid and sending it off to die.
The only people who care about yours kid are you.

Let grandma clue you in on something. The people who make laws who restrict you, who punish you, who annoy you are lawyers. You got obamacare and no tort reform because of lawyers. The corporations had nothing to do with it. It was all lawyers and big pharma. So you are barking at the wrong people. Think about it.

Oh and Bush signed Medicare D into law because big Pharma didn't want seniors shopping for drugs in Canada. The same damn drugs they sold to Canada for 1/2 the price they wanted American seniors to pay. So, thank Big Pharma and their cadre of lawyers.

the kids were in a pile of leaves. she didn't see them.
imo, it was a tragic accident, and it's kind of repulsive to turn it into a political football
i'm sure the girls' parents appreciate it.

Uhhhh so are my civil liberties. My civil liberties are more important to me the ICE process which we didn't have at the time of the Constitution.
My rights are more important.

It is right there in the article del.
Under DACA, implemented in 2012, Garcia-Cisneros received a work permit, driver’s license and Social Security number. Last fall she slammed a sports utility vehicle into a leaf pile, killing 6-year-old and 11-year-old stepsisters, then she fled and her boyfriend helped cover up the crime. The horrific crash occurred in Forest Grove, which is about 25 miles west of Portland. Garcia-Cisneros got arrested the following day and her boyfriend is in jail for hindering prosecution. Earlier this year a jury found her guilty of two counts of felony hit-and-run. Even under DACA, the illegal immigrant should have been deported so she was taken to an immigration detention center in Tacoma, Washington months ago to complete removal proceedings.

strangely, i doubt the objectivity of judicial watch.
go figure.
what i've read is that she didn't see them, but that her brother went back to the scene and found out the girls were there and had been killed.
she should have returned to the scene at that point. she didn't and was rightly convicted of felony hit and run.
this is a little different than knowingly killing two little girls and running away.
at least, it is to me.
