A Dartmouth study concluded that teenagers who played video games that allowed them to play as "evil" characters were more likely to risky behavior. Here is the catch teenagers were less likely to engage in risky behavior if the violent video game had a noble protagonist.

I do believe that violent video games does lead to a certain amount of mind training. If someone plays the evil part, they tend to be meaner, then someone who plays the good part. I played dungeons and dragons a couple of times with some people and it was really amazing how seriously they got into their roles of good and evil, and the more I watched, it seemed that even when they were no longer playing, the roles they chose seemed to effect their behavior in real life.

I think that I am starting to see why we need to ban video games.

They appear to be very addictive and actually control people lives.

I'd take him along but I honestly don't think he'd do very well with the way that I camp or like it very much. It could be fun(ny) for one of us at least.
