The intruder thread got me all warm and fuzzy about my dog. I love that dog to death and so does the rest of the fam.

Why don't we honor them by posting our pics of them!

Here is Norman the Newfoundland.

I can't get all three of them to pose together. Toby 12, and the "babies" Max and Lexi age 1. Lhasa Apsos.

Great dogs, very devoted and loving. HATE doorbells!

Toby doesn't seem nearly as happy as the other two.

Daisy Mae (Chihuahua), Skeeter (Min-Pin), Penny (Canine)

I have to settle for small dogs that I can handle now...but boxers are still the best!

He's 12 and has bad arthritis, and stomach trouble. Takes meds. The babies don't don't have a worry in the world. He loves the pups, but when he's had enough of "playing" he puts his paw on their heads and holds them down. They get along great. I walk them and they walk all side by side very well.

It's funny cause Norman does the exact same thing with dogs. He will roll over but if the dog gets too "frisky" Norman pins the dog in about .32 seconds.

Can anyone tell me what is a good chew for dog?

We were giving them rawhide chews that they love, but I've read they contain harmful chemicals.

I buy composite chews..they are not solid rawhide but kinda particle chews...they crumble when the dogs chew them. I had problems with the dogs trying to swallow the solid rawhide & getting choked. The vet said the composite chews are ok for them....I don't have to stick my fingers down their throats & pull 'em out.

We all have weight issues in my house, the vet told me that Milk Bones & such are very high calorie for dogs. He suggested that I buy canned green beans & give them as treats...the dogs love them and their weight isn't a problem anymore! They think they are getting table food treats!!

The Guardians of the Treasures. The Jack Russell Terrorist is Jethro and the Pit Chihuahua is Doozie. We wanted a white one as well and were going to name it Floozie

When I was growing up a family without a dog was worse off than a family without a TV set.

I love Lhasa Apsos. Well, I got one for my first wife. Our daughter fell in love with them and dragged me along upon the divorce. She had 4. Might as well admit they were my kids dogs more than mine.

I finally got all three to look at the camera, I had a hot dog in my mouth. They never took their eyes off of it. Whatever works.

Oh yeah. Food!!! They love cold baby carrots, raw string beans, peaches, all organic.

But, seniors should never have a floor the same color as the dogs. You have no idea how often I almost trip over them. They're always at my feet. I'd like to think they love me, but I realize I am the food wagon. They're great pups, very lovable, and obedient, most of the time. Today we go to the groomer. They love that.

Nothing really to groom on my girls except a bath in the laundry sink, tooth brush, and a toe trim once in a while. The Boy goes to the groomer, too much hair! Have him shaved into a lion twice a year in late spring and late summer. Just too hot for him and he's 17 now. He does think he's quite handsome when it's done. Once Hubby took him instead of me and varied the cut. Shaved him all over to 1" poor dog looked like a puff ball! and I swear he was embarrassed! He moped for a good week!

lhasas have a thick under coat, that mats easily. The groomer does their ears, nails and anal gland too. I can't do that. They love the attention.

I did split the hotdog between them. They're smart. If I just fake them out, they'd never fall for it again.
