I keep a TV on in the background, mostly for noise. Started putting MSNBC on - just to see what those toolbags are up to.

I posted that Boortz thread but couldn't remember his name so I figured I'd click over to MSNBC/Shultz - he's been ragging that topic for a week now and sure enough...

It's awful, they're still ragging Palin's Paul Revere thing. It's the same fucking shit night after night, like they're running the same program over and over again for a week.

At least O'Rielly has variety on his show.

I used to watch MSNBC as much as any other network 10 years ago. It wasn't that bad. They had some balance in their opinion programming. Then Matthews went insane or pretended to to boost his ratings. I think he and others made a conscius decision to imitate FOX but it's just a caricature of FOX.

Dread Schultz is a blow hard, he caters to the socialist union lovers and mindless zombies who believe without consideration for fact. I watch from time to time, always foaming at the mouth as if the worlds gonna end if Obama doesn't fight back and stand up for progressive values. They have few values, mostly fictional tales and a few causes that both parties care about.

This is the guy who called Laura Ingraham a "slut", If Rush or Hannity talked like this Homeland Security would investigate. Rush has referred to him as Sergeant Schultz "Hogans Heros" because he "knows nothing". The man ranted for 12 minutes because he was compared to a tv character who disliked what the nazis were doing. There's one quote on this website where he says he'd like to rip Cheney's heart out.

http://www.mrc.org/specialreports/2010/RealRadioHatemongers/ExecSumm.aspx

■ Conservatives Want to Kill Barack Obama: “I really think there are conservative broadcasters in this country who would love to see Obama taken out.” (Ed Schultz)

■ Dick Cheney Should Die: “He is an enemy of the country, in my opinion. Dick Cheney is an enemy of the country....Lord, take him to the Promised Land, will you? See, I don’t even wish the guy goes to Hell, I just want to get him the hell out of here.” (Ed Schultz)

“I, I, I tell you what. If I lived in Massachusetts, I’d try to vote 10 times. I don’t know if they’d let me or not, but I’d try to. Yeah, that’s right. I’d cheat to keep these bastards out. I would. ‘Cause that’s exactly what they are.”

Really? My impression is that MSNBC has always been crap.

I point to CNN as a channel that used to be good and has really shit the bed, though I don't ever watch it so I guess I can't say for sure.

Stop watching all that crap. FOX and MSNBC both. And turn the TV off when you sleep, it interrupts your sleep patterns and doesn't actually allow you to get the deep sleep you need.

It wasn't so bad then or at least not in my opinion. I didn't watch CNN all that much. I still watch FOX but if I went "the news" (i.e. serious analysis) I go with the print media. I like The Economist for that.

It's funny how we're okay with censoring so much in this country and outlawing trivial stupid and nonsensical things, but it's JUST FINE for news corporations to spread lies throughout the American public and indoctrinate us with bullshit. The really sad part is we love it and we beg them for it. It's entertaining.

Yes....Shultz sucks and is one of those Ultra Neo-libs without the money. I use to watch MSDNC. All the Time.....(Sun-Tzu know they enemy) Did you know Ayles of Fox is the man they gave Chris Matthews his start? Spunk is right. When an empre begins to crumble and fall apart from within, then not only does censorship have to be watched for. But the propagnda that is put out to the masses.

i hesitate to even call them news channels...they are more "entertainment" providers than anything else

Not to mention MSDNC is just as guilty as Fox in their partisan Rants. Now they even put up the Turk Cy Ungor or whatever. That guy is as bad as Schultz and Maddow.

Althought I do watch CNN. I like most of the political analysts there. Although they should dump the Elitist Donna Brazille who use to work for Al Gore and ran the DNC.

While they ran all that bullshit on lets tone down the Rhetoric.....The only one on MSDNC to do so is LAwrence O'Donell. Which is Surprising when comeing from the left-wing Socialist.

Reverand Al Sharptongue filled in for Dread last night and rest of week. He's more likeable but Sharptongue discussed John Stewart's so called racist rant about Herman Cain and avoided calling it racist. I guess Cain isn't the right shade of black but when Rush mocked Sharptongues voice that was racist. Fire Dread replace him with Sharptongue!

Actually I think neither are racist jokes but Cain was right in saying Stewart is against ABC's American Black Conservatives. That's against the liberal orthodoxy.
