<<<<<Said in Deep Russian Accent, DA.....It Is Good to Be The President. ---------Again! :evil5:

MOSCOW (AP) — Vladimir Putin took the oath of office in a brief but regal Kremlin ceremony on Monday, while on the streets outside thousands of helmeted riot police prevented hundreds of demonstrators from protesting his return to the presidency.
Putin, 59, has ruled Russia since 2000, first as president and then during the past four years as prime minister. The new, now six-year term will keep him in power until 2018, with the option of running for a fourth term.

After taking the oath of office with his right hand on a red copy of Russia's constitution, which had been carried into the hall by goose-stepping Kremlin guards, Putin stated his commitment to democracy.
"We want to live and we will live in a democratic country where everyone has the freedom and opportunity to apply their talent and labor, their energy. We want to live and we will live in a successful Russia, which is respected in the world as a reliable, open, honest and predictable partner."

Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov, who leads the largest opposition faction in parliament, warned that the government is radicalizing the protesters by refusing to take them seriously.
Putin has dismissed the Moscow protesters as ungrateful, pampered urbanites and agents of the West.

Putin, as promised, began his new presidential term by formally nominating Medvedev as his prime minister. The parliament, where the Kremlin party holds a majority, was to vote on his nomination on Tuesday.....snip~

Putin has official reins now. Not to mention he can run for another term. When this guy meant he didn't mind serving for life. He wasn't kidding. Seems there was quite a bit of protesting going on. Putin shut that shiznit down. Police beat people with batons and I heard this morning they roughly dragged off over 200 protestors.

Putin was like.....Da, I got Place you can Occupy.

It's crazy out there, Putin is in so too is Hollande, as well as the fringe of the political spectrum on both sides in Greece are in like Flynn...

No matter who'll win our general Presidential election, the world's political paradigm is shifting towards the outskirts.

How did ya like that move of Putin Nominating Medvedev as his Prime Minister. This way if Obama wins the Election Putin will send Medvedev in to handle the light-work. If Romney wins. Putin puts on the Ritz.

Yeah.....Although I don't think his wife likes it to much. Guess it's kinda of easy for him to keep his name out of the Public except when he wants to make a point. That Democracy where everyone is allowed to apply their talents, labor, and energy.
