The teabaggers are taking over the GOP, and getting rid of republicans that aren't to the right of Mussolini. They don't care that Lugar has seniority on the defense committee. I'm really glad they're that stupid.

If I didn't know you were serious, I'd think you were developing a sense of humor.

People who believe in the Constitution.

Those who don't are not part of the Tea Party(ies) and are enemies of the US.

Is Lugar really gone, or will he do like LIEberman and run as an independent? His hardcore supporters are not going to like what the teabaggers did. Half of them will vote against the teabagger to keep them out of the GOP, or not vote. Either way, it's less power for the GOP.

Yep, he lost and he says he will not run as an Independant. I have it up in another thread. He is done. 80yrs old with 35 years in the Senate. Chair of Foreign Relations. At least he goes out respected.

If teabaggers had any respect they wouldn't have slit his political throat. I think they slit their own while they were at it, and the GOP too. What the teabaggers are saying is, "It's our way, or we will destroy the GOP."

They definately opened up the chance for the Democrat to win that Senate seat.

You're good at making things up, about the Tea Party Movement, and about Facism. The TPM is about less taxes, less government and more liberty. Facism is a branch of socialism.

Politically I don't have any...well, Ralph Nader if you consider him a politician. I think he's more of a consumer advocate.

Will Rogers, Woody Guthrey, Bob Dylan, Greg Brown, Levon Helm, Pete Seeger, Neil Young, Ray Charles, Tom Lehrer, Max Yasgur, Frank Zappa, to name a few. uh...I'm a musician.

Why?

Because being proud to wear a picture of a fascist who's own people skinned him alive, on your chest is really out there.

Why? At least you are using the term "fascist" correctly for once. Thanks for that.

Real republicans don't do R&R, it's against their religion. That's why my mom thinks I'm a terrorist.

I play guitar, bass, and Jew harp. I used to play rock and country in bars when I was younger. I quit playing regular about 15 years ago. My youngest son is a hot bass player. He's opened for George Jones, Brad Paisley, BR549,

You just sit there and take it all in, because you're in for a nice long roll in the conservative movement, like it or not.

What would Lugar do with his seniority on the offense committee? Use it to spend still more money on foreign military misadventurism?

It would appear thus.

Who nd what are "teabaggers"?When the TP was first formed, some of the TP'ers made the mistake of calling themselves "teabaggers" not knowing - to their credit - that the term is colloquially used to label a gay sex act. Decent people don't know of such things and I could have lived my whole life not knowing about it either.

Unfortunately, many on the left love to refer to the Tea Party people by that term as a way to insult them. Those who do so are people of low character, IMO.

As far as Lugar, he was assisting Obama in the terrible "Law of the Sea Treaty" that is harmful to our country by American taking money and technology, and giving it to other countries at the UN's discretion

If you don't know about it and other UN treaties that Obama is going to try to get passed in the lame duck session, you can read about them here (http://thepoliticalforums.com/threads/3433-Five-Harmful-UN-Treaties-Obama-will-try-to-Ratify?p=78384#post78384).
