Interesting but inaccurate description of America. Nearly 100% of the original settlers were from Christian stock but the people that devised and executed the revolution and establishment of this country were not. And Christmas was a pagan free for all that was nearly outlawed in the early years. And while it may be offensive to wish a Jew a merry Christmas it would be economic ruin for many of them should we dispense with the senseless spending on junk to give each other as a token of our ignorance.
