The knives are out: Panetta eviscerates Obama’s ‘red line’ blunder on Syria

By S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Tuesday, October 7, 2014

Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Tuesday that President Obama damaged U.S. credibility by drawing a “red line” against Syria’s use of chemical weapons and then failed to back it up with military force when Syria crossed the line.

“It was damaging,” Mr. Panetta, who also served as CIA director for Mr. Obama, told Yahoo News.

He said Mr. Obama “sent a mixed message, not only to Assad, not only to the Syrians, but [also] to the world. And that is something you do not want to establish in the world, an issue with regard to the credibility of the United States to stand by what we say we’re gonna do.”

Obama even being President damaged U.S. credibility around thew world. He and the Democrats have made us all the laughing stock of the globe. I'm sure that's why Putin felt so very confident in moving troops into the Ukraine.......What's Obama going to do about it except bloviate? A true Hot Airedale.

I can easily see not only the Obama Cabinet filled with Clintonistas turning on Barry, but the liberal media as well. They will need to distance Hillary from the Obama administration as though she were an unwilling participant in the idiocy.

If Hillary decides to run in 2016, she will have to first climb above the myriad of Obama failures as she was a member of his cabinet. That means she will need to throw him under the bus or risk wearing the stench of his administration around her neck going into the 2016 Presidential elections.

Hillary's big problem is she will need to throw Obama under the bus while at the same time distancing herself from the crapola Obama perpetrated. That's not going to be easy if even possible at all.

If Hillary throws Obama under the bus, would that be considered work place violence?

instead of worrying about Hillary's biggest problem, think of her biggest helper...the GOP. imho, she won't win the election, as much as the GOP will lose the election.

If everyone here can concede that "None of the Above" will probably be a better candidate than either party provides we still have to pick the least worst.

Which in my opinion is not the Cookie Lady and her philandering husband.
