Carved our pumpkins and picked out all the seeds. Washed them and roasted them over the fire pit, added some olive oil and creole salt.

Turned out pretty good, very nutty. Almost like the half-popped kernels of popcorn, which is the only part I eat when they make popcorn during movie night.

I always loved doing that. My parents would bake them when I was a kid. I hated the carving part, though. Too sticky.

I love the sunsets and Fall weather but I hate the seasonal foods and beers. Squash etc. yuck.

I love butternut squash soup. I literally eat it like 5 times a week.

I usually get that job but I deferred this year.

It worked out ok.

I don't even know where to get that let alone have it 5 times a week, why so often?

Sometimes (rarely) I make it, most of the time I buy it. And because it's fairly healthy while still being delicious. It's filling without having to eat much. It's a good choice for lunch at work.

Most cream soups like that are good. I guess I could do a butternut squash soup.

I see it around here. It's not as common as some other styles but it's around.

Nice! I love roasted Pumpkin seeds! Think I'm going to try them in the smoker this year. Light on the smoke of course!

Sounds like an ad script.
