A DC-6? That's like one notch above a biplane. Nice.

It sounds like the plane lost an engine...doesn't sound like intentional crash...thank goodness. so far confirmed 2 killed, 4 injured. First reports say about 100 people in the building.

I saw this early am on yahoo but don't know what happened to the pilot. Those killed in the building probably died due to fire. Bad way to die.
Yahoo did not say it is a DC-6 but a Beechcraft King Air.
I have been in the Queen air while in Germany to see what it looks like and they are a business class airplane though you don't have to be in business to use them. 2 engines and the manufacture is known for quality.

when I first heard the news flash they were speculating it was intentional. I'm sorry for the victims but still thankful it was an accident!

Wow A DC-6?
Are they still using those for Passengers?
What Airline still uses those?

That is how rumors start. King Air has 2 engines. the DC-6 was used for commercial and military use and has 4 engines.
Beech craft makes the King air. The DC-6 is much larger.
