While Republicans are concerned over Voter ID in order to supposedly "restore the integrity of the vote," they might want to do a few updates. In Guilford County, North Carolina, a couple of voters had a difficult time casting a ballot for Kay Hagan. Instead, the votes registered for the Republican candidate.

GOP activist admits involvement in Ashley Miller attack site, declines to say who is behind it

The GOP's *Trashley* Miller

A mysterious and short-lived website launching over-the-top attacks at Democratic candidate for state House Ashley Miller was first reported by WFPL (http://wfpl.org/post/bellwether-kentucky-house-race-turns-nasty) last week, though no one took credit for creating the website.

Thankfully a lot of states are going back to paper. Nothing works better than a hardcopy record of your vote.

Not to harass a new person but this blind team sport dance the older types engage in turns off voters below 35. Both parties toss salad. I see little difference in behavior.

Oh oh I see a great deal of difference. No Republican would ever say " let's escort whore out the door"

There is no party lines is trying to steal votes, theyve both ALWAYS have done it. The difference is the last few years the gop has been on a campagin to suppress votes and to redistrict to their benefit. Like in fla 3 states have had their voter suppression tactics over rode by the courts and UNCONSTITUTIONAL imagine that from republicans no less.

This is true, but Dems tend to be a tad more subtle about it. ;-)

Alison Grimes Sues Mitch McConnell Over 'Despicable' Voter Mailers

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/grimes-sues-mcconnell-mailers

The campaign of Kentucky Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes has filed a lawsuit to stop Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell's campaign from distributing a mailer (http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/mcconnell-mailers-election-violation) that it says amounts to illegal voter intimidation tactics.

The Grimes campaign on Friday said it had filed for an immediate injunction with the state court in Franklin County, which is where the state capital is located.

The campaign is calling for a state and federal investigation of the mailers that say they're authorized by the Kentucky Republican Party and the McConnell Senate campaign.

The legal filing by the Grimes campaign can be read below, first reported by TPM.

"Of all the terrible things Mitch McConnell has done during this 30 year career in Washington, this last-ditch campaign he authorized to intimidate Kentuckians and prevent them from exercising their right to vote is unquestionably his most despicable," Grimes campaign manager Jonathan Hurst said.

Paying for some to show up, scaring others away...what's the difference? There is none to me. Both parties are slimey.
