I'm not aware of a source for former presidents' daily schedules since nobody bothered to start threads about them... so you're asking an unanswerable question. Yes, all past presidents campaigned, but in my opinion, NONE could hold a candle to Barack Obama. He's campaigned since the day he took office. In fact, it's the only thing he knows how to do.

If you'd like to prove George Bush (who showed up for work before sunrise) didn't work as hard as Barack Obama (who seldom shows up before 9:30)... go for it. Well I don't have him as you say on the cross but too many Americans are hurting. 23% unemployment of Native Americans, African Americans have been hit hard too and they have a right to be upset. Most white Americans over 40 have almost given up and many people of all races are in financial trouble. Even in the Clinton era at least he tried. Today kids in high school that use to be able to get a summer job somewhere most can't find one. It's hurting all Americans. Any one notice that President Obama is going to visit two states bordering Wisconsin, but is not going to make any appearance in Wisconsin. The big Recall election is in four days. Why won't President Obama visit Wisconsin in order to hearten Democratic voters? It seems to me that Mr. Obama has broken faith with his Wisconsin supporters and the unions that finance them.

President Obama should pull out all the stops for the Wisconsin Recall election because if the Democrats fail to recall the Republican Governor then it will be total war against all unions everywhere. Why won't he commit his prestige in an effort to save his ideological colleagues?

President Obama is taking something of a Ferris Bueller’s Day Off today, spending the night in his own bed in Chicago – like Ferris – sleeping in late, avoiding work, and going for a stroll to his friend’s house.

From the pool report:

After your pool held in vans in the President’s Chicago neighborhood for about 90 minutes Saturday morning, Mr. Obama went out for a stroll of about four blocks to the home of his friend, Martin Nesbitt, in the Hyde Park/Kenwood section of the city.

The president walked into your poolers’ view at 11:47 a.m. Central time at 49th Street and South Woodlawn Ave., strolling with senior adviser Valerie Jarrett. He was wearing tan slacks and a white, open-collared shirt with sleeves rolled up. Ms. Jarrett wore a knee-length, navy dress. They were trailed closely by an agent.

The pool was positioned across the street. As POTUS walked by, he called out, “Nice day, huh?” He asked your poolers if they’d spent money in Chicago last night.

A reporter called out to the president, asking if he had cooked breakfast for himself at home. Mr. Obama smiled and replied, “No, I woke up too late.”
It’s the first time he has spent the night in his Chicago home since April 2011.
Obviously, there were security preparations involved with the president’s stroll. Law enforcement blocked off the streets at 49th and Woodlawn a few minutes before the president’s arrival, and pairs of agents in dark suits walked down the middle of the street. A police canine searched the area, and a garbage can on the street was checked.
No word on whether the president plans to hijack a parade and sing “Twist and Shout” in the middle of the street.

Obama will return to the White House a little later than scheduled this afternoon.

Obama cast himself as a friend of free enterprise, but asserted that Republicans had adopted a policy of market "absolutism.

No I wasn't part of that one.....I walked with Veterans that were bruthas and former gang-members on the South Side Thru Roseland and Algayle Gardens. Because I cared so much. Obama is on the links at Fort Belvoir with White House staffers Mike Brush and Marvin Nicholson, and Joe Paulson.

This is Obama’s seventh time golfing this year.
