View Full Version : Should Rand Paul make tjhe break and join the LP?

Could he draw enough of his following, along with the currently necessary evil of campaign funding to the LP to put them on the sheep's map?
Once people hear a Rand Paul, A Gary Johnson or even a Ralph Nader they tend to identify with a lot of what is said. Is this the way to get the message out without having it died in any way to the Donkephant? Could LP congressional candidates experience a sort of coat tail effect ? Might this be the beginning of a coalition government?

Until we do have an active, viable third party (or more) we will continue with more of the same. We need to eliminate the huge PACs to keep corporations & the wealthy from owning their own senator, etc.

I don't remember who suggested it, but someone here brought up the idea of a public service TV station that would provide equal time for politicans, free of charge. Something like that would put candidates on an even footing. Who knows, we might even find an honest politician?
