Smaller measures already passed by the Senate Finance Committee, from tax breaks for car-racing tracks to benefits for racehorse owners, would be extended for one year and retroactively renewed for the current tax year.

Left off were the two tax breaks valued most by liberal Democrats: a permanently expanded earned-income credit and a child tax credit for the working poor. Friday night, Republican negotiators announced they would exclude those measures as payback for the president's executive order on immigration, saying a surge of newly legalized workers would claim the credit, tax aides from both parties said.

We cannot afford all the thing we want. When we have debt, we borrow from global banks, that pushes up interest rates and makes YOUR dollars worth less, so that you go to say Walmart with $10 you can now buy a gallon of milk ($3.50, eggs ($2), and maybe bacon ($3.75-$4). Fifteen years ago you could have gotten much more than that.

It's all about the cost of living. You guys wanted the Obama plan, you got it, no you have unintended consequences.

Its the FED Ben Bernanke plan, not Obama's. And Fed rates are virtual zero, with free money going to bug banks. Its an intentional inflation policy to counter the DEFLATION that exists today. With such a poor economy, and little demand, deflation would drop prices and create a much worse situation. Its choosing the lesser of two evils, which, of course, benefits the big banks, and not so much the people. A Faustian Bargain.

The earned income tax credit is about all that keeps many families from hitting the streets, and its loss would be devastating. The Cabal runs things, and controls the puppet strings of many politicians, who want to destroy the Republic.Borrowing and consequent debt is all that keeps America from falling apart.

When it comes to enforcing the immigration law, our government cannot find illegal aliens. When it comes to redistributing wealth to them, the IRS knows exactly where to send the checks.

I think if Michael Brown's mother found a brass ring she would pin it in her nose and still report to the welfare office for her monthly handout.

If the majority of black people had a clue they would never have voted for Obama.
