Got no problem with this, assuming they don't have the budget to hire a full time security guard and here's why:

The town is 30 miles from the nearest law enforcement agency.

That said, everyone carrying should undergo further training & certification even if they have a concealed permit.

Should the school bus driver have more training and super certification than one in the nearest big city?
