Obama campaign manager: Hey, we’re actually ahead of where we were at this time in 2008 (http://hotair.com/archives/2012/06/04/obama-campaign-manager-hey-were-actually-ahead-of-where-we-were-at-this-time-in-2008/)

An impromptu pep talk for Obama Nation after a miserable week from Jim “Punch Back Twice as Hard” (http://thepoliticalforums.com/archives/2009/08/06/white-house-to-dems-on-town-halls-if-you-get-hit-we-will-punch-back-twice-as-hard/) Messina, who pushes not one but two lies in the first 90 seconds or so here. One: He seriously wants you to believe that Obama’s in better shape electorally now than he was four years ago, when he was a cultural phenomenon being touted as some sort of budding savior of mankind. You shouldn’t need poll numbers to confirm for you what horseshinola that is, but in case you do, Jim Geraghty’s (http://www.nationalreview.com/campaign-spot/301746/messina-were-doing-great-oh-and-we-may-lose-wisconsin#) got the link. Go here (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/general_election_mccain_vs_obama-225.html#polls) and scroll through RCP’s list of results for May-June 2008 to see how “badly” O was doing back then. Gut-check time for our three pro-Obama readers: Whose chances were you more confident in, the Jesus figure of four years ago who got to blame George Bush for all of America’s problems or the guy who’s run up $5 trillion in new debt and passed a widely unpopular health-care law while the economy’s remained in a coma for three years?

What do you think folks? Does 'bless his heart' Messina have a reason to be so cocky about Obama winning another term? Personally, I think somebody's got their hand up his butt, pulling his strings. Shhhhh, don't tell his sawdust brain. ;)

Yep. Obama is a FAIL.
Let this be a lesson. Capitalism good, State-ism bad. Any questions?

For someone of whom it is claimed has no chance of re-election, you lot are sure worried enough to attempt convincing each other of his impending doom.

It's a shame really, when instead you could be inspiring independents to vote for your candidate.

What's his name again?

The Obama campaign is stumbling and bumbling their way through the beginning of the summer phase of this campaign, and it is beginning to show on our electoral map. This week, Nevada changed from safe Obama to lean Obama, Montana went from lean Romney to Safe Romney, and tow big states finally moved into the tossup column: Colorado and Ohio. Both states remain, for now, Obama states in the map with no tossups, but their switch is long-awaited and welcome news for Romney fans. A couple new polls have come out of Colorado recently which verified that the race is incredibly close (much to the chagrin of Tom Jensen and his colleagues at PPP). And a new Rasmussen poll actually put Romney in the lead in Ohio for the first time since the beginning of the year. Even when averaged with other polls from the state (all of which give Obama a lead, which is why we’re still coloring it blue if there were no tossups), Obama’s lead is only 46.8-43.8. The trendlines in the Buckeye state have not been good for the President for a few weeks now, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Ohio change to a Romney-leaning tossup in the weeks to come

if the trend continues since febuary obama has dropped from 318 votes to 303, it is gonna be close folks so unless romney shoots himself in the foot, He could pull this off.

If Walker wins the Recall.....Wisconsin might just be in play. Which the last Time A Republican took Wisconsin was when Reagan won.

Also the Demos are divided over Wisconsin. Obama was avoiding it and now Bilbo the Clown jumped in. Thinking if Walker loses then it will look like Bilbo saved the day. Not Obama. But if Walker wins.....then Obama catches the heat for never giving any real support from the Bully pulpit.

Not to mention if Walker wins. He will be the first out of the 3 Governors that have been recalled as the other two lost their recalls.

Can you say that the Illinois and California debt didn't get deeper just in that one year and has progressed even deeper into that hole each and every year after that for the 3 years Obama has been in office? Thats not counting Detroit and Michigan nor most of those Blue States with their debt and spending either.

The fact that it is a lie.

The following are 18 statistics that prove that the economy has not improved since Barack Obama became the president of the United States….
#1 Today there are 88 million (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2012/02/08/BUIQ1N3RH8.DTL) working age Americans that are not employed and that are not looking for employment (http://www.mrconservative.com/2012/02/2016-18-statistics-on-obama/#). That is an all-time record high.
#2 When Barack Obama was elected, the percentage of unemployed Americans that had been out of work for more than 52 weeks was less than 15%. Today, it is above 30% (http://www.financialarmageddon.com/2012/02/one-ugly-picture-a-few-sad-words.html).
#3 There are 1.2 million (http://republican.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/our-view?ID=e33a7a58-66d2-4491-91f6-aae703cdb370) fewer jobs in America today than there were when Barack Obama was inaugurated.
#4 When Barack Obama first took office, the number of “long-term unemployed workers” in the United States was approximately 2.6 million. Today, that number is sitting at 5.6 million (http://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdf).

You're the one who does not understand economics.
Government cannot create jobs. Their job is to create an atmosphere that will promote private sector job growth and with Ubama's policies...that ain't gonna happen.

The GOP is not in control and hasn't been for nearly 4 years.

It is not the government job to bail out private companies, plain and simple. It's not in their enumerated powers. Do you honestly think that if they went belly up no one in America would ever make a car again?

The last I checked ... we already have Voting Rules to cover the 0.0003% of Voter Fraud that happen over a Decade.

You really think it's that low? Where did you get the number from? Fraud works for both parties of course...

Just by this you can tell we have no backbone in America. I don't know why they don't send our voting polls overseas too.

A Republican National Lawyers Association effort to discredit the NAACP backfires by showing voter fraud - impersonating other voters - barely occurs.

Attorney General Holder claims that the states' requirement of photo identification for voting, in order to prevent voter fraud, is just a pretext for discriminating against blacks and other minorities. He apparently sees no voter fraud, hears no voter fraud and speaks no voter fraud.

Despite Holder's claim, a little experiment in his own home voting district showed how easy it is to commit voter fraud. An actor — a white actor, at that — went to a voting place where Eric Holder is registered to vote, and asked if Eric Holder was on the voter roll.

The actor had no identification at all with him, either with or without a photo. He told the voting official that he had forgotten and left his identification in his car. Instead of telling him to go back to the car and get some identification, the official said that that was all right, and offered him Eric Holder's ballot.

The actor had the good sense not to actually take the ballot, which would have made him guilty of voter fraud — and, being white, he would undoubtedly have been prosecuted by Eric Holder's Department of Justice.

But the actor had made his point. When a white man with no identification can go to a voting site, impersonate a black man who lives in that district, and get his ballot offered to him, then it is far too easy to commit voter fraud.

Cigar always ignores this chart when he gets on the 'are you better off now than you were then' kick.

The country as a whole is much worse off than when Barack Obama took office... which means we're all worse off.

Except the loan sharks, of course. Title Loans, Payday Loans and pawn shops are doing a booming business. Barack must be so proud.

And that chart is out of date. The debt is closer to $16T.
