Priebus memo claims Wis. boost

The GOP victory in Wisconsin (http://www.politico.com/tag/wisconsin)'s gubernatorial recall election was an "absolute disaster for President Obama (http://www.politico.com/tag/barackobama)" and represents a clear sign of Republican momentum heading into the fall presidential election campaign, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus argues in a memo set for release Wednesday.

In the memo -- shared early with POLITICO -- Priebus writes that the struggle in Wisconsin allowed Republicans to prime a first-rate operation in the state for the November election. And the results added up to a vote of confidence in the GOP's 2012 message on spending restraint and the size of government.

The fall is not looking good for Obama and the dems. This is just another sign of things to come. The pres and the dems did NOT get the message in 2010. They will pay the price for that in a mere 5 months.

One more trite "we share see" comment.......isn't that the case with everything in the world?

Consider this: Obama and his union cronies put EVERYTHING they had intoa run at a rookie governor ...millions spent on getting the recall campaign underway, and we know the White House was directly and financially involved in that.

If it had been close...say two, maybe three points, yeah, I would say it doesn't mean much. But it's kind of like the reigning Stanley Cup Champions using their top line exlcusively again against the bottom ranked team and goit their asses whupped 9 zip.

No, because of this the Republicans have an organization that is solid, confident and well organized witm momentum on thier side. The Democrats are reeling, they will have tlo make personnel changes with six months to the boig day.

I'm counting Wisconsin as a Red state in '12
