No one can take props away from Obama for using US NAVY Seals to take out Bin Laden. So who is attempting to change the facts?

But now if you are trying to play off Obama as having 35yrs leadership acquainted with the Military. As in leadership skill all due to what the Admiral said. Then there are plenty that can take issue with that. Also as well as overall Military Leadership as the C in C. Which would include Petraeus and host of other Generals and Admirals.

Another would be the Democratic Senator Jim Webb who use to be the Under-Secretary for the US Navy, who has constantly spoken out against some of Obama's Policies. So much so the First Term Senator.....has declined to run for re-election. :wink:

“Of course. Even Jimmy Carter would have given that order,” Romney said, referring to the former Democratic president known for his reluctance to use military force.

On Sunday, former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs insinuated in an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press” (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032608/) that Romney might not have given the order to kill bin Laden, mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Asked if Romney would have made the same decision as Obama, Gibbs said: “I don’t think it’s clear that he would.”

No I already pointed out what the Admiral said was bullshit.....also there is no way Obama can compare to a leader with 35yrs military experience. Not to mention most things would have to be described in lay-mans terms in order for any President without significant Military experience, in order for him to know and understand what people are talking about. Last President we had with such was Eisenhower.

Although I do believe the Admiral being an Obama Supporter and making more out of Obama is a bit over the top. Nor to realistic! :laugh:

Not quite, I don't agree at all with what the Admiral said. You need to take off the blinders. I've got over 12 yrs experience in the military and survived a War. Obama couldn't can't even compare to one with just 12 yrs let alone one with 35.

His career would be on the line if he dissed the POTUS and given the situation detailed in the link below, he would in fact, be "going along" with the established plan by praising Obama!

It's been widely reported (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2713977/posts) that he was reluctant to approve the operation, being worried that if it didn't work, he'd be shamed. Although it cannot be proven, as such things are privileged info, I don't doubt it for a minute. Calculating and cowardly- that's what Obama is. It's always about HIM first.
