Will he still have an audience tomorrow?

MSNBC host Ed Schultz says he regrets the fact that his show deceptively edited Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s comments and Schultz’s ensuing implication that Perry made a racist remark about President Barack Obama.

Speaking in Iowa during the weekend, Perry referred to the U.S. debt as a “big black cloud that hangs over America.” On “The Ed Show” Monday night, Schultz alleged that Perry’s comment was a racist slam.

“Perry comes from the radical country club that loves to remind white America that President Obama is other: not like you,” Schultz said.

I for one would stop watching any show that got caught doing something so brazen particularly in an election year.

I'd be interested to know how his fans will react. Will they make excuses? Start talking about Fox News? ::)

Schultz has his radio following....and he has always been a hard core lefty. Plus I think it was in the works to move him out anyways.

I've never heard of O'Reilly or Hannity doing something like that. Have they? These psycho libs are always talking about Fox News but they project their own unprofessionalism onto that network.

Plus Now MSDNC is Sporting AL Sharp-tones.....not to mention the girls they are getting to break the news are starting to look a little better. Taking a page out of Foxs book there.

I listen to them so I can here all that bullshit and those Democratic Strategists tell us what the Republicans think as well as do. Plus then we have CNN and BBC running. Althought it does depend on which Warehouse too.

I think they all do it. O'Reilly is better than most though. Back in the day he used to be the outrageous one! Wow, how times have changed.

The Rev(do all black men become reverends at some point?) is a media darling. He got his start on Fox.

That was pretty bad though. I've never heard of anyone on Fox doing something comparable but I could be wrong...

What exactly? Creative editing? Race baiting? I can't provide examples off the top of my head but I've seen the same stuff on Fox News. I don't care enough to research it. :D In my mind Fox News and MSNBC are two sides of the same coin, but it does seem to me MSNBC pushes the envelope more.

Really, the people that buy this stuff without questioning it are a big reason why our country is in such poor shape today. :(

I don't see anything that even approaches what Schultz or his people did. I could be wrogn but I thin this is in a class of its own.

True and I'd imagine that everyone watching his program has already made up their minds on just about everything.

Nah you can check it out.....Even Matthews of Hardball has gone over the top. Then Olbermann. Then Maddow. Matthews still is running around complaining about how people dont think Obama is an American. Then talks about American Exceptionlism????? Lawrence ODonnel is a self admitted Socialist and thinks every one on this planet is entitled to healthcare. CNN doesnt get as bad as MSDNC tho. IMO they are worse than Fox but the flip-side of the coin in an extreme with a lot of the shit they say.

:D It looks like Fox has been accused of plenty but what Schultz did isn't one of them. You'd never hear the end of it if it had been.
