Plouffe: Republicans want 'more war'
White House senior adviser David Plouffe said on Sunday Republicans want “huge tax cuts for the wealthy, more war, more debt."
“They want to return us back to the same policies that caused the recession — huge tax cuts for the wealthy, more war, more debt. And independent economists last week just said the Romney congressional agenda would cause us harm in the short term economically and slow down the recovery. So that's the wrong direction,” he said on ABC's "This Week."
(Also on POLITICO: Plouffe denies W.H. leaked information (http://www.politico.com/blogs/politico-live/2012/06/plouffe-obama-didnt-leak-information-126384.html))

Host George Stephanopoulos pressed Plouffe on his statement, asking “more war? Where are the Republicans calling for more war?”
“Well, listen, the point is, George, our opponent and many in Congress criticized our decision to end the Iraq war,” Plouffe said.

This guy epitomizes the admin: dishonest.

Gosh, Obama sure seems to find plenty of excuses to engage in foreign military misadventurism. Seems to be endemic to the overblown, out of control U.S. Federal government, I'd say.

The executive has very little power in domestic affairs, that is why Obama took such a "Bush" stance in Afghanistan. He has no other way to make his mark.

He seems to be doing a pretty good job figuring out how to write his own laws, though.

He's made it clear he does not regard the Constitution as more than minimally relevant; another reason to impeach him. Congress, why haven't you impeached this beast?

Plouffe, Axelrod, and Wasserman-Schultz. The tri-fecta of liberal pied-pipers knowing their lemmings well. Otherwise, three of the sorriest scumbags in America.

Plouffe is a pencil neck geek.....Axelrod is like Carville so he is the threat. Plouffe is a one shot deal with his buddy. Course Wassermann-Schultz has been the DNC attack dog for the last 6 yrs. Although her pathetic azz has been muted somewhat this year. Course the Zimmermann case pretty much shutting her up as they still make that play for Florida.

I wasn't aware McCain was in the white house as President. Obama is doing his share, you should go visit the ME.

How so?

Because Wassermann Schutlz is also a Congresswoman in Florida and she has remained remotely quiet on this. Letting Karen Finney and the Black Caucas to cockblock for her. Moreover she was being advised by whats her name? The one that got into it with Ann Romney. I can't think of her name for the moment.

Because Wasssermann also knows as a a Florida State Pol. She best keep her mouth shut about the gun issue which could cause her to lose her district.
