Yes, but it's not political. I watch him sometimes. I guess I'm more of a political junky.

Politics are why I enjoy Stewart...anyone who can make people laugh over politics is good. I liked Erma Bombeck for the same reason...anyone who could make me laugh about cleaning a bathroom is good!

He is, but he's leaving late night for a daytime game show I think, and some nobody is taking his place.
I have been watching Seth Myers when I am up that late, he is funny and his writers are getting better.

I haven't seen the show yet. The new host is Larry Wilmore I think. I'll try and watch Friday night. Staying up that late gets pretty gruesome at 6AM.

Yah, the Nightly Show is funny - some thoughtful content, well mannered, but occasionally some cutting remarks.
The Comedy Channel here - & I assume across the country - reruns the previous night's shows during the next day - Daily Show, Nightly Show, etc. If you can set your VCR or digital recorder, you can get the show the next day.
Yah, I hope Larry Wilmore can go the distance. Once Stewart goes, Letterman goes - & we don't know what Colbert will do in that slot - he says he's abandoning his Colbert Report persona - late night TV could become a ghost town. That, or I'll just get a lot more reading done.

Well, I never liked Letterman. We may not know what he will do in that slot, but we can be assured that it will be entertaining. He was always entertaining before he adopted that persona, so it shouldn't stop there... I am going to miss Stewart and do miss Ferguson, though...

New Poll Shows Tina Fey Should Host 'The Daily Show'
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/11/tina-fey-daily-show-poll_n_6846680.html
According to a new Quinnipiac University National Poll (http://www.quinnipiac.edu/news-and-events/quinnipiac-university-poll/national/release-detail?ReleaseID=2173), 19 percent of voters across the nation want Fey to take Jon Stewart's place (http://www.avclub.com/article/new-poll-shows-america-wants-tina-fey-host-daily-s-216372?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=SocialMarketing&utm_campaign=LinkPreview:1:Default) after the latter's departure from his Comedy Central show (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/11/replace-jon-stewart-daily-show_n_6661958.html).
Another "SNL" alum, Dennis Miller, came in at 16 percent, and Chelsea Handler, John Oliver, Craig Ferguson and Brian Williams were all in the single digits.
The poll was slightly divided on gender lines, with only 15 percent of men favoring Fey as opposed to 23 percent of women.
But Fey's total among men was still good enough to be second on their list of replacements, and the comedian scored well across the board.

I don't want Tina Fey to take over The Daily Show. Craig Ferguson I would take. Dennis Miller, no. John Oliver has his own thing going on. Chelsea Handler, I don't think so. Brian Williams would be the absolute worst of the options given...

Liberals being in love with the Daily Show is fitting. It's simply hate and partisanship disguised with poor humor. For what ever reason, liberals love the fake news, but can't handle the true news.

http://i60.tinypic.com/mufpua.png Way back in 1950, that sanctimonious screwball set the tone for our useless HeirHead anointees' cowardice and anti-Communist hypocrisy. His infantry battalion was about to unexpectedly get sent into Korean when that war broke out. Little Patsy called his Daddy, a US Senator, and begged to get transferred to easy duty in Japan and it was done.
