Was thinking of Chloe when I saw this.

Now I wonder what they taste like canned in mustard sauce.

(Reuters) - For the first time, a fish has been removed from U.S. Endangered Species Act protection as federal officials declared on Tuesday that a tiny shimmering minnow found only in an Oregon valley was no longer in danger of extinction.

Just goes to show the importance of things like the endangered species act and also the focus on these issues by environmentalists and concerned people no matter how small the animal. I'm happy for these fish and hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.

Why is this particular chub important? Couldn't we have saved all that rescue money and just introduced some horn daze or creek chubs instead?

I bet filleting them is a bitch!

Having been to Oregon, when I saw "chub", it wasn't fish that popped into my mind first.

You don't fillet them. You cook and eat them like that.

I hear if you see a spotted chub you need to go see a doctor and get some anti-biotics.

You use them for trout bait, especially the tails

She's a fly fisherman and I'll bet she's never caught a fly that wouldn't unzip for her
