There’s little doubt that most of America’s leaders would benefit from intense psychiatric care. Lobotomy, anyone?

You really know the world is wonky when top-level US Government officials like Marie Harf, the State Department’s deputy spokesperson, suggest that America is unable to stop terrorism and that instead we need to examine the “root causes” that create this turmoil in the first place. Harf stated that, “We cannot kill every terrorist around the world, nor should we try.” Why not? I’m reasonably certain that ISIS is taking a polar opposite view and would be delighted to kill each and every non-believer on the planet.
It’s those darned “root causes” that always seem to keep us from turning swords into plowshares or keep the lambs from sleeping with the lions.
Or maybe it’s just that the liberal elites have gotten so nuanced that they see things the rest of us are incapable of seeing. You know, like when someone is hallucinating during a psychotic episode, just before the white-coated men wrap them in padded restraints and lock them into a rubber room?
I don’t really get the “root cause” thing, having studied history to a fair extent. Whether it’s William the Conqueror taking over Britain, Attila the Hun invading Europe, or Adolf Hitler waging Blitzkrieg on Russia, there’s strong evidence that “root causes” had less to do with any war than blind ambition mixed, ruthless bloodlust and an unshakeable will to prevail over one’s enemies.
This is actually the prime reason that America has been unable to win any of its wars since 1945, when President Truman made the courageous decision to drop the Atom Bomb on Japan. That’s an exemplar of the will to prevail.
But regretfully, America no longer has the will to prevail, which is why its elites are constantly looking to make excuses for those who would like to kill us. Hence the President of the United States directly and resolutely denies reality when declaiming Islam’s link to the Islamic State Iraq and Syria. Can there be a more blatant example of being out of touch with reality?
Another example of severe psychosis is when Army Chief of Staff, Gen. George Casey Jr., in an apparent fugue state, claimed that while the ‘workplace violence’ committed by Maj. Nidal Hassan was tragic, an even greater tragedy would be the loss of the Army’s “diversity.” That’s another buzzword used by our ruling elite to excuse all sorts of unacceptable behavior.
If a crazed gunman shoots 43 people in a frenzy of gunfire all the while screaming “allahu Akbar” it isn’t Jihad or terrorism. It’s workplace violence of the sort that occasionally happens at the post office. And the most important thing to the Army’s Chief of Staff, is that the United States Army doesn’t lose its “diversity.”
My question is, if diversity is one of the Army’s greatest strengths, why bother with uniforms? Why have a uniform code of conduct? Why have any of the accouterments of a unified organization? Note the etymological root ‘uni,’ which doesn’t appear in the word ‘diversity.’

Duty, Honor, Country...I don't believe Obama ever has been familiar with those words. Our present generals, Martin Dempsey included have certainly forgotten them. Today, generals Like MacArthur, Eisenhower and Schwarzkopf are considered Neanderthals and the diversification and feminization of our military corps is now foremost in the minds of Liberal Progressives. Conquest, genocide and slavery in America are next. Truly the inmates have taken over running the asylum. Obama leads inmate pack. He has transformed America not fundamentally but drastically. Obama and destructive partisan politics by both parties are the root cause of today's problems. That is unless we divest ourselves of this predicament we have placed ourselves.
