Here are 12 of mine:

1) Kill the megacorps
2) Change the archaic "Control code" to a sales / value added tax.
3) Public campaign financing for 6-8 parties with amounts that constitute a fraction of what is spent on campaigning today
4) Repeal the 16th Amendment or t least the Apportionment clause, effectively ending federal pork.
5) End prohibition and spend related tax revenues on prevention and treatment
6) Phase out federal involvement and authority in areas not covered by the Enumerated Powers
7) Ban both the import and export of fossil fuels.
8) Put in place tariffs that allow companies to compete while paying a decent wage here at home.
9) Automatic review of all new federal legislation by the USSC
10) Bring all the troops and most of the diplomats home and give American citizens abroad in hostile territory a 90 day window to get out with our assistance and let them know after that they are on their own.
11) Honor the BOR's as a package deal
12) Cut up federal government' credit cards .

If you think about it, had we never swayed from the founding fathers intent of Limited Federal Government and States Rights, NONE of the issue we have currently would exist!

Why? Well you would have the massive Republican majority in the house, and with the Republicans in charge of 35 of the States, there would be 70 Republican Senators.

The President would be nothing more than a ceremonial position, much like it was intended to be!

^^That would be a great start. Then let that be a guide to shrinking government and getting it out of our personal and social lives.

Is that the 18th Amendment? We should repeal that as well

I'll try to respond to each one as best as I can.

1) Kill the megacorps
Why?

2) Change the archaic "Control code" to a sales / value added tax.
Could you explain this?

3) Public campaign financing for 6-8 parties with amounts that constitute a fraction of what is spent on campaigning today
That ignores the "Public Choice School" realm of economics. Also, government is spending enough without this welfare to the rich concept of funding campaigns.

4) Repeal the 16th Amendment or t least the Apportionment clause, effectively ending federal pork.
Absolutely. Good look getting that past the Democrats

5) End prohibition and spend related tax revenues on prevention and treatment
That will be a lot more difficult than we thought.

6) Phase out federal involvement and authority in areas not covered by the Enumerated Powers
Take power away from liberals? Good luck with that.

7) Ban both the import and export of fossil fuels.
How is allowing gasoline to skyrocket to $30 a gallon going to help our economy?

8) Put in place tariffs that allow companies to compete while paying a decent wage here at home.
It was a tariff that touched off the Great Depression. Tariffs have never worked.

9) Automatic review of all new federal legislation by the USSC
Assuming those prima donnas are in the mood to look over cases. They pretty much decide what their work load is already.

10) Bring all the troops and most of the diplomats home and give American citizens abroad in hostile territory a 90 day window to get out with our assistance and let them know after that they are on their own.
It has been tried. It failed. The libertarian party even suggested replacing every ambassador with a fax machine. This assumes that all the problems in the world are OUR fault and that if we just keep to ourselves we'll be okay. Ask surviving families of the 9-11 victims how that worked out.

11) Honor the BOR's as a package deal
I have no idea what that means.

12) Cut up federal government' credit cards .
Good luck getting that through Congress. Might as well ask a hooker to become a nun.

The amount of historical illiteracy here is painful. Isolationism has its negatives, but the wars we've fought since the 1900's are not examples of such. On the contrary, interventionism/imperialism got us Pearl Harbor and war with Hitler, got us entrenched in Korea and Indochina, set the Middle East aflame, and brought down the Twin Towers.

How can people seriously be this stupid about why we get attacked when the limitless internet is at our fingertips?

March 29, 1949
CIA-backed coup detat in Syria for Trans-Arabian Pipeline.

August 15, 1953
Operation Ajax, CIA-backed coup detat in Iran for Anglo-Iranian Oil (British Petroleum), Standard Oil of New Jersey, Standard Oil of NY/Socony-Vacuum (Mobil-Standard Oil of California), Gulf, and Texaco.

March 21, 1956
Operation Omega, originating from the OMEGA Memorandum, the plan of the US and British to destroy Egyptian leader Nasser for his nationalism. The Suez Crisis would seal Eisenhower's desire to remove Nasser's influence from the Middle East.

April 1, 1956
Documentation shows CIA-M16 discussion and collusion to engage in regime change in three Arab countries and desire for partnering with Israel to do it. The US and British had plans for the assassination of Nasser who has become a threat to the West's oil interests.

July 1, 1956
Wilbur Eveland and Archibald Roosevelt of the CIA, and Michail Ilyan of the Syrian Populist Party, met in Syria to discuss US funding for political purges.

October 25, 1956
Planned date for the overthrow of Syria by the previous three men mentioned.

January 5, 1957
The Eisenhower Doctrine is declared by the President declaring US willingness to intervene in the Middle East to "fight communism". Eisenhower would intervene and he wouldn't be the last.

September, 1957
Eisenhower's approval of CIA plans to overthrow the Syrian government and assassinate its leadership by faking border incursions with pro-western regimes.

July 15, 1958
Operation Blue Bat, US intervention in Lebanon of 14,000 US troops during the Lebanon Crisis.

1960
''Health Alteration Committee", CIA plots to assassinate Iraqi Prime Minister Qasim who withdrew from the Baghdad Pact and nationalized the Iraq Petroleum Company.

February 8, 1963
Ramadan Revolution, CIA-backed coup detat in Iraq succeeds against Qasim.

July 17, 1968
July Revolution, CIA-backed coup in Iraq bringing Saddam Hussein's Baathists to power.

October 14, 1973
Operation Nickel Grass, an overt act of US support of Israel in the Yom Kippur War. Tens of thousands of tons of equipment, arms and ammunition. As a result of our intervention, OPEC embargoed the US causing the 1973 oil crisis.

January 1978
Demonstrations intensify in Iran as the Iranian Revolution begins against their dictator the Shah (installed with the aid of the US and British in Operation Ajax in 1953).

January 16, 1979
The CIA fails to predict the fall of the Shah of Iran, a longtime CIA puppet, and the rise of Muslim fundamentalists who are furious at the CIA’s backing of SAVAK, the Shah’s bloodthirsty secret police. In revenge, the Muslims take 52 Americans hostage in the U.S. embassy in Tehran.

July 3, 1979
Operation Cyclone, CIA-backed arming and training of Islamist insurgents in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets. Like the Shah in Iran, Afghanistan's dictator prior to Soviet invasion allowed CIA radar installations to monitor the USSR.

April 24, 1980
Operation Eagle Claw, CIA-planned rescue attempt of hostages in Iran. Miserable failure. Revolutionary Iran emboldened.

September 22, 1980
Iran-Iraq War, in a decade-long war in which the United States aimed to destroy both by prolonging the fighting. The US supplied Iraq with military aid, credit and intelligence. Weapons given to Saddam would be used against his own people. The US had no problem with Saddam getting WMDs back when Saddam was our buddy getting Iraqis and Iranians killed. It also helped the US and Saudis pour billions into military hardware and "defense" systems.

December, 1980
Operation Bright Star, resulting from Camp David agreement. The US trains the Egyptian military and has done so every two years since. The US supported this military dictatorship until 2011.

January, 1982
Establishment of the Multinational Force and Observers. The United States essentially agrees to use US troops to police Sinai for Egypt and Israel.

August 21, 1982
United States involvement in the Multinational Force in Lebanon is announced by Reagan. Once again the US occupies Lebanon for "stability".

September 29, 1983
Again, US forces return to Lebanon after Congress passed the Multinational Force in Lebanon Resolution. US forces are repeatedly targeted.

April 18, 1983
United States Embassy Bombing in Lebanon by suicide bomber. Another example of blowback from Muslims pissed off at US foreign policy.

October 23, 1983
Beirut Barracks Bombings in Lebanon against MNF forces killing 299 Americans. Another example of blowback from Muslims pissed off at the stationing of US troops in the Middle East. Reagan decides to pull out of Lebanon and instead of learning from this we invade the harmless island of Grenada for no reason.

August 8, 1983
United States intervenes in conflict between Libya and Chad with surveillance planes, jet fighters and ground forces.

June 5, 1984
United States surveillance aircraft help Saudi Arabia shoot down Iranian planes over the Persian Gulf.

August 19, 1981
First Gulf of Sidra Incident, firefight between Libyan and US aircraft. The US purposely instigated a fight with Libya in its claimed territorial waters.

March 23, 1986
Action in the Gulf of Sidra, US forces once again cross into the "Line of Death" marking Libya's claimed territorial waters and fight Libyan forces.

April 5, 1986
Berlin discotheque bombing which kills two American soldiers. Libya is blamed by Reagan despite no trial of any suspect until 2001.

April 15, 1986
Operation El Dorado Canyon, US bombing of Libya in reaction to the 1986 Berlin discotheque bombing. Again, no trial of suspects until 2001. Failed attempt to kill Gaddafi.

July 24, 1987
Operation Earnest Will, the blatant US protection of Kuwaiti oil tankers and intervention in war between Iran and Iraq.

July 3, 1988
Iran Air Flight 655 is shot down by the US Navy killing 290 people including 66 children. The US never apologizes.

December 21, 1988
Pan Am Flight 103 bombing in Lockerbie, Scotland. Another example of blowback against US foreign policy, Libyan nationals bombed in reaction to Reagan's bombing of Libya in 1986.

January 4, 1989
Second Gulf of Sidra Incident, US forces once again cross into the "Line of Death" marking Libya's claimed territorial waters and fight Libyan forces.

August 2, 1990
Persian Gulf War, instigated by the CIA. US Ambassador to Iraq April Glaspie encouraged Saddam to invade Kuwait who was slant-drilling into Iraq making billions of dollars off Iraqi oil. Back in 1989, CIA Director William Webster told Kuwaiti leadership to take advantage of Iraq's bad economy and push them, and a CIA-linked think tank simultaneously told Saddam to push Kuwait. Even earlier Bush authorized billions of dollars of illegal arms sales to Saddam. When Iraq invaded Kuwait, the US then fabricated war atrocities (like when the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador gave fake testimony in front of Congress under the name 'Nayirah' and claimed Iraqi troops were ripping Kuwaiti babies from incubators). Saddam was willing to agree to UN demands, and the US wouldn't have it or peace.

August 6, 1990
The sanctioning of Iraq. In less than a decade the combination of sanctions, embargoes and no-fly zones against Iraq would result in half a million dead Iraqi children, destroyed infrastructure, the fall of living standards and a crushing effect on Iraq's economy.

March, 1991
Operation Provide Comfort, the US operation resulting in the establishment of an autonomous Kurdish region in Iraq. This is one of the first of many operations involving the US's illegal no-fly zones over Iraq.

August 26, 1992
Operation Southern Watch, the illegal US control and manipulation of Iraqi airspace.

February 26, 1993
World Trade Center bombing in America (which the FBI totally allowed to happen and then blamed on their informant), carried out by the likes of Sheik Abdel Rahman, a veteran of the US-backed war in Afghanistan. Attack is due to US support of Israel.

June 26, 1993
Cruise missile bombing of Iraq by Clinton in retaliation for a bullshit plot to kill Bush. 8 civilians die needlessly.

September 3, 1996
Operation Desert Strike, the cruise missile strikes on Iraq for resisting America's illegal no-fly zones and daring to fight back against occupation.

January 1, 1997
Operation Northern Watch, yet another blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty six years since the end of the Gulf War.

August 8, 1998
Embassy Bombings in Kenya and Tanzania. Another example of blowback against US foreign policy, the bombers blames US sanctions on Iraq as their motivation for the attacks.

August 20, 1998
Operation Infinite Reach, US bombings of Afghanistan and Sudan in retaliation for the Kenya and Tanzania bombings. These missile strikes were pointless and achieved nothing other than the destruction of a pharmaceutical company which supplied a majority of Sudan's medicine. Tens of thousands of dead likely resulted from destroying this source of healthcare.

December 16, 1998
Operation Desert Fox, another bombing of Iraq. Conveniently carried out when attention was on Clinton's impeachment hearings. We know he didn't lie about getting a blowjob under oath, which means the justification for this bombing wasn't a bullshit distraction right?

October 12, 2000
USS Cole Bombing, at Aden, Yemen. Another instance of blowback against US foreign policy, a branch of al-Qaeda bombed a US ship in reaction to US creation of intelligence facilities in Yemen.

September 11, 2001
Al-Qaeda and bin Laden cited U.S. support of Israel, the presence of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia, and sanctions against Iraq as motives. The United States responded by invading Afghanistan, Somalia, the Philippines, Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan, Syria, and fucking West Africa.

The solution isn't more dead brown kids. The solution, insofar as there is one to damage caused by our decades of adventurism, is to stop raping third world nations.

Put hefty tariffs on anything corporations who outsourced try to import from china.
Raise the minimum wage.
End ALL corporate welfare subsidies.
Break up the too big to fail banks and actually REGULATE them to stop their stealing from americans.
Make it not worth companies outsourcing to screw american workers.

Reverse the citizens united decision and all candidates get the same amount to campaign with provided by a donor pool for both parties and subsidized by the federal govt.

That should be up to the employees. And union membership should never be mandatory.

Put hefty tariffs on anything corporations who outsourced try to import from china.

Tariffs should be used only when another nation dumps products onto our markets. Our manufacturing can focus on higher end products. Let the 3rd World product crap. We don't have to produce crap.

Raise the minimum wage. Neg in general. A minimum wage on the low end isn't going to have much of a negative effect on markets, but if you make it too high you are hurting the people you are intending to help. Minimum wage jobs are typically stepping stones into the world of work. They are also low-end jobs that some people take for specific reasons, like a part time income while they do something else they value, like take care of a kid. But in general, if you are making minimum wage as an adult you have a lot of serious problems rather than your paycheck. You made serious life choice errors. Also raising the minimum wage kills jobs for teenagers.

End ALL corporate welfare subsidies. Agree with the caveat that tax breaks are not subsidies. They are incentives to get business to establish in your town rather than the other town.

Break up the too big to fail banks and actually REGULATE them to stop their stealing from americans.

Agreed. I would break up all big banks and bring back the separation between banks and financial insitutions. I would also limit the amount of leverage that a bank could use. I would also end the Fed, have the Treasury print Greenbacks and allow the States to coin their own money.

Make it not worth companies outsourcing to screw american workers.

Reverse the citizens united decision and all candidates get the same amount to campaign with provided by a donor pool for both parties and subsidized by the federal govt.

Yes to reversing Citizens United. Individuals should donate to whom they wish in the amount that they wish. Unions and corporation should only act according to their charter. We don't need to let them give shareholder property (money) to politicians. Neg to the communist idea of a joint donor pool. That would essentially end political donations- maybe that is your intent.

I might as well chime in, although most people already know what I'm going to say:

1. Repeal the Capital Gains tax. Last time Newt Gingrich cut the rate and balanced the budget. Get rid of it. It's nothing but a CLASS ENVY tax. Watch the Treasury get FLOODED with revenues.

2. Repeal ALL corporate taxes entirely. (Gee, fellas: America has the highest corporate taxes in the entire world.) Watch the corporations start buying up AMERICAN real estate and building factories. Without that anchor around their necks, tech companies wouldn't need to send manufacturing orders to FoxConn in China.

3. Amend the Constitution to make the ENTIRE United States a RIGHT TO WORK country. Unions will still have a say, but they won't have the power to jack up wages to the point where companies decide it's cheaper to go to the Far East.

4. Have Congress impose the Penny plan of deficit reduction. (Look it up, libs. It was innovative and it would have worked.)

5. Overturn Obamacare completely. There are already Republican plans on the table that slowly introduce market plans necessary for reducing the cost of health care.

6. Repeal the 16th Amendment. It has been nothing but trouble and is no longer relevant.

7. Repeal most onerous business regulations that cause companies to send jobs overseas. (Remember, job growth under the deregulating RONALD REAGAN was the best in history. When an economy grows at record rates, there's no need for government to step in. Companies throw money at new employees just to get them.

8. Seal the borders immediately. Institute DEPORTATION plans for violent illegal aliens. Enforce the laws against companies who hire illegals. (Yes, this will pissss off the Republican donor class who want the cheap labor. SCREW THEM.) You can't create all those jobs and then have tens of millions of ILLEGALS willing to do them for minimum wage. Markets don't work when there is no rule of law. FORCE companies to follow the law.

9. Term limits for ALL members of Congress. Same as the office of president. GET RID of the Washington lobby class and put the decision making BACK into the hands of those WE ELECT to make those decisions.

10. BUILD the Keystone Pipeline. Sit back and watch the high paying jobs appear out of nowhere, along with a few hundred BILLION in new tax revenue.

11. Cut off the environFascists and their frivolous lawsuits against the construction of new oil refineries. Build three or four refineries and American gasoline drops under a dollar a gallon. That's the BEST tax cut you can give to the poor EVER. Watch the economy take off then.

12. END the Environfascist war on oil drilling. America has more oil than anyone else in the world. MAKE THE WORLD BUY OUR OIL and not Iran's oil. Not Saudi oil. Then sit back and watch what happens when ISIS loses a huge amount of funding.

(Notice, I stayed clear of foreign policy. This is just for fixing the American economy, which was damaged by liberal Democrat polices.)

Also, you'll notice I said nothing about welfare reform. Learn the lesson of Reagan. When the economy is booming, fewer people need welfare. It's no longer an issue. A lot of things automatically fix themselves.

Right now there aren't any other resources that can provide for our needs NOW. They just don't exist. Secondly, we have most of the oil in the world. We just have environazis who won't let us drill or frack for it. Thirdly, oil has little to do with why there are wars around the world. 9-11 didn't occur because of oil.

What's the difference between the Walmart corporation buying TV ads for a political candidate and the UNIONS buying TV time for a political candidate? How about George Soros spending his own money on an ad versus an oil company.
It doesn't work when you try to show favoritism in a FIRST AMENDMENT that was designed for everyone. The Supreme Court was right, whether you like it or not. The FIRST AMENDMENT is the FIRST AMENDMENT and it applies to ALL, not just the folks liberals agree with.

but he will also start taking the switch to renewable energy as a serious mission rather than a pick up line

That will come in plenty of time when the FREE MARKET is ready. Remember, the government did NOT make the switch from the awfully messy and shittt producing horse-drawn transportation and automobiles. Be patient. It'll come. But a FASCIST government trying to rush things will only hurt the economy.

9/11 was not about nor was it preventable by anything that could have happened in that 4 year span

Yes it was. Clinton was a nice guy, probably very cool to hang with, but he was an incompetent, dishonest and LAZY president. 9-11 is on him.
