McConnell Says He'll Delay Loretta Lynch Confirmation Until Senate Votes On Bill With Anti-Abortion Language (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/15/mitch-mcconnell-loretta-lynch_n_6872716.html)

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Sunday that the Senate would delay the confirmation of Loretta Lynch to succeed Attorney General Eric Holder until it resolved a bill that Democrats object to because it contains anti-abortion language (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/11/justice-for-victims-of-trafficking-act_n_6846828.html).

Before the Senate considers Lynch's nomination, McConnell wants the Senate to pass the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act (https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/181/text). The bill, which would establish a fund for victims of human trafficking, had bipartisan support until Democrats learned it contained language that restricted federal funds for abortion. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has said the bill will not pass as long as it contains the language.

"I had hoped to turn to her next week, but if we can't finish the trafficking bill, she will be put off again," McConnell said, referring to Lynch, on CNN's "State of the Union."

White House calling the shots In the months since Republicans took charge of Congress“To the extent that Republicans on Capitol Hill are doing things, it is either putting out fires in their own camp or responding to incoming from President Obama,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest said in an interview.

“Most of the message of the Republican presidential candidates is a message that is a reaction or response to White House initiatives, or actions taken by the White House,” Earnest added.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Earnest said, hasn’t delivered on his promise to make government work or find areas of cooperation with Obama. The idea of House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) being in control of his conference makes Earnest laugh out loud.

“Depends on the day,” he said.

Lynch is as much a racist as Holder, and is nominated because she will protect the racist Obama! We need to decrease racism, not support it. Shame on you for supporting idiots like Lynch, Holder, and Obama!

Not sure, but I'm sure there are many democrats who would be more fair than those two! Obama will only nominate one who is as crooked as he is!

If you actually took the time to research her career from Grade School to today, you'd see she's actually more successful than Eric Holder.

Can YOU please post one single thing that disqualifies her?

I never said that at all, "Mr. Twist Words!" They are racists because their history reeks of it. It is also true that most blacks are racist, but Holder and Obama are racists to the point of unconstitutional actions.

The 5 Most Interesting Cases of Attorney General Nominee Loretta Lynch’s Career
1. United States v. Volpe Lynch was a member of the trial team that convicted several NYPD officers involved in the torture of Haitian immigrant Abner Louima (http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=92902) in August 1997.
After repeatedly pummeling him with their nightsticks, uniformed officers arrested Louima outside a Brooklyn-area nightclub for allegedly interfering with their efforts to break up a fight between two women there. The officers then brought him back to the police station, where he was dragged, handcuffed, into a filthy bathroom and violently sodomized with a broken broomstick.
Much like the Ferguson incident that roiled racial tensions around the nation this summer, the Louima beating was said to exemplify a pattern of law enforcement harassment of young black men.

2. United States v. Nafis Lynch also prosecuted a string of accused terrorists, including Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis, a Bangladeshi man convicted in a sting operation (http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/federal-reserve-terror-plot-quazi-mohammad-rezwanul-ahsan-17505632) of attempting to blow up the Federal Reserve Bank (http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/terrorist-bomb-york-federal-reserve-bank-feds/story?id=17502708) of New York in October 2012.
Nafis, 21, entered the country on a student visa with dreams of committing “violent jihad.”
He and a man he believed to be an Al Qaeda operative – actually an undercover federal agent – worked together to construct a 1,000 pound “bomb” out of garbage bins and batteries, which Nafis loaded into a van and parked outside the Federal Reserve building. When Nafis attempted to detonate the device remotely, police arrested him.
“The prospect of widespread death and destruction could not dissuade him from his deadly plan. Nafis’ goals of martyrdom and carnage were thwarted by the vigilance of law enforcement,” Lynch said in a statement.
Nafis eventually pled guilty to attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

3. United States v. Farrukh Baig et al In June 2013, Lynch announced a major immigration bust at more than a dozen 7-Eleven stores (http://abcnews.go.com/US/video/7-eleven-stores-raided-immigration-probe-19421000) in New York and Virginia.
Store franchisees, prosecutors said, were running a “modern-day plantation system,” providing undocumented immigrations with stolen identities, then housing them in cramped boarding houses, forcing them to work 100-hour weeks, and confiscating up to 75 percent of their pay.
“From their 7-Eleven stores the defendants dispensed wire fraud and identity theft, along with Slurpees and hot dogs,” Lynch said. ““The 7-11 franchises seized today will be better known for their big fraud than their Big Gulp.”
The store franchisees and operators eventual pled guilty to committing wire fraud and harboring illegal aliens.

5. United States v. Sanderlin Lynch’s office handled the prosecution of so-called “pot mom” Andrea Sanderlin, a wealthy suburban woman who in June 2013 was accused of running a $3 million, 1,000-plant marijuana operation (http://abcnews.go.com/US/york-pot-mom-andrea-sanderlin-arraigned-marijuana-growing/story?id=19519934) she called “Fantastic Enterprises” out of a warehouse in Queens.
Sanderlin pled guilty to drug charges and was ordered to fork over $1 million as part of a plea deal.

5. United States v. Michael Grimm Lynch also led the investigation of Republican Rep. Michael Grimm, NY, who was indicted in April on 20 counts ranging from tax fraud to perjury to obstruction of justice (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/fbi-arrests-rips-rep-michael-grimm-fbi-agent/story?id=23496040&singlePage=true).
According to the indictment, Grimm, an FBI agent-turned-restaurateur, allegedly paid his staff under the table and concealed more than $1 million in gross receipts from the IRS.

I have looked at her record, and it's quite acceptable. However, the common feeling among Republicans is that she has been and will be too accepting of Obama's Overreach as POTUS. She will not be critical of anything Obama has done, especially since she's an old law school buddy of moochelle's.

Lynch's office indicted Republican congressman Michael Grimm; prosecuted Democratic politicians Pedro Espada Jr. and William Boyland, Jr.; investigated Citigroup over mortgage securities sold by the bank, resulting in a US$7 billion settlement;

My suggestion to you would be to turn off Fox News and try thinking on your own, rather that relying on the common feeling among Republicans. The common feeling among Republicans has been a failure for more than 6 years. Get a clue.

Congratulations on your Huge Victory last November.

The republican party has once again, lied to the American people. They ran on a platform guaranteeing change in Washington and to date have done virtually nothing to keep their promises they made on the campaign trail. While they have a perfect right to vote as they believe, I think the people who supported them are so gullible it's disgusting.
