I've often wondered if certain states require a partial lobotomy as soon as someone is elected to political office.

It wasn't executed well, but it would most likely become a reality in the case of a societal collapse. Women are victimized when the rule of law is gone.

Yeah, women turning to prostitution will be one of the many & one of the lesser impacts of the whole thing if it ever gets to that point.

There's a lot of truth in her words. But as a racist, you don't see it.
“Women will disproportionately face harmful impacts from climate change,” Lee’s resolution reads. It continues claiming, “Food insecure women with limited socioeconomic resources may be vulnerable to situations such as sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage that put them at risk for HIV, STIs, unplanned pregnancy, and poor reproductive health.”
And, really, you teabaggers need to cut the Hank Johnson racist sh*t.

It's very delicate to begin with, there are now sensitivities. Look at what drought does to food prices now (beef skyrocketed a year or two ago because of a midwest drought). Any measurable changes in climate will have an impact.

Oh good god.
It was around 1988 as I recall when as a BOD member of the real estate board we got her request for funds.
I did my best to block funds to Barbara Lee based on the principle we served the board not to represent our political view, but to serve the members.
The money was not mine, it was membership money. We had no right to donate to politicians.
But the damned Democrats managed to win. She got our funds.
Barbara Lee never amounted to much. I was shocked she still survives in congress.
It wasn't executed well, but it would most likely become a reality in the case of a societal collapse. Women are victimized when the rule of law is gone.
She lives in my area. She knows her own people. She is in a high crime rate area.
But sure sure does not represent my city. Dickwad Mike Honda represents us.

1974 ? That's about the time technology was able to measure Global Warming wasn't it ?
No. It's about the fact that political operatives have been trying to scare us with predictions of civilization ending doom and gloom for decades.
But apparently she was the only one in the house wise enough to vote against Bush's Shawk-n-Awww...
I would bet ten million dollars she fought Bush.
That is not even much to discuss.
But the fact we invaded Iraq is pretty serious.
My view is the world and the USA would not have some of our serious problems but for that war.
Yet the country backed Bush.
Why did they back Bush.
Because starting with the kicking out of Kuwait, the public started to see how evil Saddam was.
They saw this country send well over half a million troops to move him out of Kuwait.
When Clinton shows his face in DC, rather than call off attacking Iraq, he goes for more attacks. Clinton could have shut down the air war against Iraq. Clinton did not need to bomb Yugoslavia for several months.
Seems that in the USA, the public assumed the president knows best and in general backs attacks by presidents even though the president is unjust.
I am telling you that over the years, this country was conditioned to wage war.
By the time Bush shows his face, a law was passed designed to get Saddam out of Iraq.
The public seems to have enjoyed war. Just as today they enjoy blasting Yemen, blasting Iraq and Syria and qare hot as hell at Russia. We are doing it again. This time it is Obama using bombs and blasting people.
Do you see the public protest over his attacks?
You probably agree with his aggression vs Russia. You are being led to war.
But since it is Democrats, you may rather enjoy it.

Me too, Captain. I learned alot about approaching dogs in cages. Remember, when a dog or cat is in a cage and they need to be moved for any reason, they're "cornered." You have to let them know you're not there to kill them or they'll bite you good. Working with cows, or hogs was just brawn and labor. Working with horses is just a pleasure. Most of the time, you know where you stand with them. We never treated any goats, but once in a while, a mule.
