Joe Biden said a long time ago that Iraq should have been partitioned into three parts. He was right.

I have always thought that he was chosen for VP solely as insurance on the President. Who would impeach or assassinate Obama with him as the replacement?

Yes, indeed, since others do it, we should give Joe a pass.

we could find a better president than Biden by simply opening any phone book in the country and selecting a name at random.

That is a common policy of presidents....Nixon's remark (from tapes) about his VP, Spirio Agnew:
"No assassin in his right mind would kill me" because they would get Agnew - wiki

Nattering nabobs of negativism Agnew. LOL, here do we come up with these idiots!
Yes, indeed, since others do it, we should give Joe a pass.
Not my point, but the fact that it gave your brain a flyby is no surprise.

Biden had two potentially deadly aneurysms in 1988 but no recent brain issues

I really don't think he'd run. I don't believe he could be successfully nominated, and I am sure he is well aware of that.

I think if he were interested in running he would have made some noise about it. He has been completely silent on the subject.

Much the same thought for Dan Quayle as well.
"Mars is essentially in the same orbit . . . Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe." -- Dan Quayle 1990

An aneurysm isn't a stroke and his brain wasn't "zapped". Like Hank Johnson, he's in fine health now.

Joe Biden is NOT presidential material. He strikes me as a guy that never has an original thought and who only is good at putting out what someone tells him.
I really believe he would lose the primary to Hillary, Warren or Omalley

Joe actually mopped up the floor at the VP debate with Ryan but that was I think a combination of Joe being a seasoned vet (which I give him credit for, he handled himself like a pro) and Ryan being kind of a dumb fuck.
