Talk about sore losers, the cons lost already. SCOTUS declared it constitutional. The Senate is not going to allow these whining teabaggers to overturn health care. So they are just wasting the taxpayers money by having this vote to repeal. Only morons will continue to beat a dead horse. All this does, is prove to the American people that the GOP doesn't care how much money they waste, even when they know it's just a waste of time and money. Go ahead morons, advertise your stupidity.

It sure beats working for a living ... otherwise that would have to come up with alternatives rather than sitting around saying NO all the time.

Well unlike the Demos they didnt walk out of a Vote when they could have voted. No.

But straining that thumb-muscle must be too much of a Burden for the Usupers of the Constitution. Just remebers Gopher the SCOTUS called it a Constitutional Tax.

What is a waste of money about it?

Here are some polls that show a lot of Americans are against it.

Forget it, Peter. The Democrats have no interest in what people want. Rep. Pelosi said that they're going to do what they think is good for us whether we like it or not. So, bend over and get ready.

Actually, the Republicans are trying to save money. Liberals know only tax and spend so I don't know why you even care if money is wasted. President "turn that spigot again" Obama certainly doesn't worry about wasting money.

Anytime a republican has something before congress it is a waste of time, but when the democrats have something there we have to "hurry up and vote for it". Only fools think the Health Care issue is constitutional. It wasn't a tax then it was a tax...if you have to "buy" something it is a product. Taxes are paid ON the product, they can't be the product itself.

...SCOTUS declared it constitutional. The Senate is not going to ...overturn health care. So they are just wasting the taxpayers money by having this vote to repeal. ....

I've taken the liberty to elide the histrionics.

I would put it SCOTUS declared in not unconstitutional, and that, not by commerce clause, but as a tax you can't find in the Constitution, and unconstitutional to coerce state participation.

Last I saw 10 states have rejected it.

As Peter's link Reps are doing the will of the people in trying to repeal the tax. Come November the libs may no longer control the Senate.

This is a line drawn in the sand. Obamacare is forcing people to buy healthcare whether they can afford it or not. House payment vs ins payment....

NO NO :frustrated:

They are gonna have a fight on their collectivist hands.

Cons whine about government spending, but love to waste tax dollars on repealing health care votes. This is their 33rd futile effort. They know it won't past the Senate, and even if it did Obama would veto it and they don't have the votes to override. Each vote wastes a week of legislative time in the House and Senate. Each congress person is paid about a thousand dollars a day, plus what their staff workers are paid. So that's over a half million dollars a day, comes to $2.5 million a week, multiplied 33 times is close to $100 million they've wasted. They would rather waste tax payer dollars than fix this country. Republicans sure are a bunch of morons.

Today's the day...I don't expect congress to do the right thing, so we'll probably have to wait on Romney to get the ball moving next year.

Five House Democrats Wednesday bucked their party and voted with Republicans to repeal Obamacare. The vote, 244 to 185 with no Republicans voting against a repeal, was mostly symbolic, given that House Republicans have orchestrated at least 30 prior votes to fully or partially kill or defund the president's health care law. All passing efforts have died in the Democratic-controlled Senate and Wednesday's legislation will befall the same fate. But the vote did offer politically-vulnerable members a new opportunity to take sides on the president's health care law.

I have always wondered about people who complain that the constitutionally established democratic process costs taxpayers money. They always seem to lean to the left and do not seem to have learned from the more "efficient" forms of government and what happens when you silence opponents, even though they may be a minority. Cuba is highly efficient, they shoot dissidents.

I would say that with an election looming, forcing some of those fat cat democrats to go one record, now that we know what the hell is in that epic law is necessary if not inspired strategy.

But then the same people who complain about tax payers money being wasted in the democratic process weren't exactly vocal about it when the Democrats were doing it to Bush....
