While I am a fervent advocate of non-partisanship, there are candidates in both major parties that I have no issues with voting for.

Who are yours?

Republican:

Sen. Rand Paul
Sen. Mike Lee
Sen. Tim Scott
Rep. Walter Jones
Rep. Justin Amash
Rep. Trey Gowdy
Rep. David Schweikert
Rep. Thomas Massie
Rep. Barbara Comstock
Rep. Mia Love
Rep. Elise Stefanik
Gov. Rick Snyder
Gov. Brian Sandoval
Gov. Susanna Martinez
Gov. John Kasich
Gov. Bill Haslam
Former Gov. Jon Huntsman
Former Rep. Ron Paul

Democrat:

Sen. Joe Donnelly
Sen. Barbara Mikulski
Sen. Cory Booker
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand
Sen. Tom Udall
Sen. Sherrod Brown
Sen. Ron Wyden
Sen. Patrick Leahy
Sen. Bernie Sanders
Sen. Tim Kaine
Sen. Joe Manchin
Rep. Raul Grijalva
Gov. Mark Dayton
Former Sen. Mark Udall
Former Sen. Jim Webb

Keep in mind, I am always open to being persuaded to vote for someone on the list (or, likewise, persuaded not to vote for someone on the list). It's been a long time since I followed votes in the U.S. House, so the House is under-represented on my list.

Huntsman, Webb (not on your list) and I'm curious about Sanders...don't know much about him....but plan to look him up

I fixed it. That's why I added the disclaimer at the end - I have terrible recall. I had to go through a list of current U.S. Senators, Representatives, and Governors just to remember all the currently serving ones I'd vote for.

If he wasn't 80 I would vote for Ralph Nader (again)

To be honest most of the list I dont know a thing about and the ones I do know dont flip my switch but lately I dont like anyone.
Im in the unique position of being a senior who is financially secure and I cant get hurt no matter who I vote for or what they do. Republicans and their agenda wont hurt me and Democrats and their agenda wont hurt me. If my taxs go up some, so what.

So it leaves me to vote for the issue im most passionate about and I also believe is all about the good of country. That is the working class and what the rich and corporate interests are doing to them and the country.

I am pretty turned off by anyone currently serving inthe government that has spent the last X number of years voting along party lines and not ruffling any feathers. And off hand I can't think of anyone not on that list.

People suddenly come out of the woodwork now with grand ideas to repair the country but I guess kept them ideas close to the vest as a sitting congressman. It pisses me off.

I know one of the party regulars will win, I just wish we had more realistic opportunities for other parties to join the conversation.

We let ourselves be distracted from the real issues by the politicians. If they keep everyone arguing about unimportant things, they can keep doing the same ole, same ole.

Ron Paul is the only candidate I have heard of so far I can really 100% support everything he stands for.

Trey Gowdy is alright. So are Tim Scott and Mia Love. If I thought they had a shot I would vote for them just to see if it would get racist Liberals to shut their fucking mouths about blacks and whites and get them to see skin color doesn't matter as much as they think it does.

Shouldn't vote for anyone who's been a Senator or US Congressman, they've all been bribed or blackmailed, except for the ones that have been killed or imprisoned or thrown out for not following orders.
Certainly don't need anyone who believes in the magic bullet hypothesis, that Pearl Harbor was a surprise, that the Gulf of Tonkin event was valid, that a few pseudo Muslim guys destroyed the World Trade Center.
And certainly, any one who thinks the President has any real power, is automatically disqualified.
Then again, voting is a racket anyway, rigged worse than a California casino. So go ahead and enjoy the entertainment.

Depends on how one defines 'Muslim'. At least you recognize that the official version of what happened is.............. .

Anyway, have fun with the election speculations.

Yep, the official version, as opposed to some crackpot conspiracy theory.

Well if you are hung up on the pancake hypothesis, at least you've gotten past the Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin, Magic Bullet scams.

I agree with you for the most part, but I want to see an administration that won't destroy my children and their families. The way I see the Dems of the last 7 or so years, they will give the store away, promise anything free, to garner votes to keep themselves in power. Tax and spend dems won't get my vote.

You've lost me. Pancake hypothesis?

I get the feeling you, Sage, exotix, and strangelove are all the same person.

And my girlfriend has a Magic Bullet. Not sure how it's a scam. She loves it.
