150,000-Year-Old Pipes Baffle Scientists in China: Out of Place in Time? (http://beforeitsnews.com/science-and-technology/2015/06/150000-year-old-pipes-baffle-scientists-in-china-out-of-place-in-time-3-2769072.html)
There is plenty of evidence that human civilizations are much older than conventionally admitted to. Here is more.

Oopart (out of place artifact) is a term applied to dozens of prehistoric objects found in various places around the world that seem to show a level of technological advancement incongruous with the times in which they were made. Ooparts often frustrate conventional scientists, delight adventurous investigators open to alternative theories, and spark debate.

In a mysterious pyramid in China’s Qinghai Province near Mount Baigong are three caves filled with pipes leading to a nearby salt-water lake. There are also pipes under the lake bed and on the shore. The iron pipes range in size, with some smaller than a toothpick. The strangest part is that they may be about 150,000 years old.

Dating done by the Beijing Institute of Geology determined these iron pipes were smelted about 150,000 years ago, if they were indeed made by humans, according to Brian Dunning of Skeptoid.com.

And if they were made by humans, history as it is commonly viewed would have to be re-evaluated.

And a drill bit found in coal dated to be far older than humans have been on earth.... (http://beforeitsnews.com/paranormal/2015/06/drill-bit-found-in-coal-suggests-advanced-civilization-long-before-humans-thought-to-walk-earth-2491098.html)

Was a civilization advanced enough to use drill bits present hundreds of millions of years ago as this coal was forming?
John Buchanan, Esq., presented the mysterious object to a meeting of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland on Dec. 13, 1852. His accompanying statements are recorded in the Society’s proceedings (https://books.google.ca/books?id=xyI9AAAAYAAJ&pg=PA100&lpg=PA100&dq=Society+of+Antiquaries+of+scotland+proceedings+ December+13+1852&source=bl&ots=Ub3b8-iCxN&sig=bLy2NVs2ntCrS3YSNSiCI2GYSWE&hl=en&sa=X&ei=5kBrVaL8M4OgyASDz4PoAg&ved=0CB0Q6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=drill&f=false), which are quoted in full at the end of this article.
In summary, Buchanan said that the iron instrument was found within a seam of coal about 22 inches thick, which was in turn buried in a bed of diluvium or clay mixed with boulders some 7 feet thick.
He said: “I quite agree in the generally received geological view, that the coal was formed long before man was introduced upon this planet; but the puzzle is, how this implement, confessedly of human hands, should have found its way into the coal seam, overlaid as the latter was by a heavy mass of diluvium and boulders.”
The Society decided that the instrument was of a modern level of advancement. But, it concluded that “the iron instrument might have been part of a borer broken during some former search for coal.” Buchanan’s detailed report did not include, however, any signs that the coal surrounding the instrument had been punctured by drilling. He seemed to describe, rather, an iron instrument completely and bewilderingly encapsulated by coal.

"Before It's News is a citizen journalism outfit, where anyone can write something and have it go up. Or at least, that was the intention, as it was promptly flooded with conspiracy theorists (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Conspiracy_theorists) and is now an outlet for an "unabashedly unhinged"[1] (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Before_It's_News#cite_note-0) take on world events and religious prophecy. The advertising is for survivalist (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Survivalist) supplies.

"The site is also used by some conspiracy theorists to promote their Youtube videos about various conspiracy theories. Some "articles" are just a single Youtube video.

"The site was founded in 2008 by dot com investor and Falun Gong (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Falun_Gong) practitioner Chris Kitze.[2] (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Before_It's_News#cite_note-1) Before It's News describes itself as "People Powered News®", and accepts stories from any political background, although its political stories are entirely from conservative viewpoints and BIN goes so far as to have a dedicated "Obama Birthplace Controversy (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Obama_citizenship_denial)" category. A significant amount of the site's content consists of bloggers reposting their stories with links back to their own site. There are also comments enabled for articles, which in themselves are a source of much humor, facepalming, and banging one's head on one's desk, though in some cases rationality and critical thinking manage to prevail.

"The site also runs a podcast called BIN Radio. The Skeptical Humanities blog uses Before It's News as a rich source of idiocy for their "This Week In Conspiracy" series."

(My emphasis)

So - the story is interesting, but the source is questionable.

Did they find ancient artifacts there as well?

It's that underwater structure in Japan. It's not as old as I remembered.

There's also controversy over its origin (natural or man made).

I wonder if the pipes have received more analysis.....the article said 8% of the material was not identified. The theory of roots undergoing some type of fossilization doesn't sound too likely....unless radiation is normal in fossils.

Both articles make me go hmmmm......

Though this is the first I heard of this, it smashes the theory humans originated in Africa.

Smashes it I tell you.

I have never yet been persuaded that those in the "Came from Africa camp" bothered to try to disprove their own concepts. They are not to be faulted for wanting to prove their theory of life from Africa, but scientists are remiss for not trying to knock that theory down.

A super good theory always stands the test of being battered.

That is right, Bob.

The mainstream has covered up the ancient antiquity of man.

If true then sure it challenges the theory of human origins, if true, but most likely the dating of the pipes is probably wrong. It's fun to think of different theories and possibilities though I'll admit.

Yeah, how can scientists dating pipes get it right.

I still believe that even if the story is a fakery, just made up, evidence on this huge planet will be found showing that the comes from Africa theory is just plain wrong.

DNA can be used wrongly as well.

There are countless examples of artifacts found that are way older than conventional historians admit to. Civilization has come and gone in cycles.
