Wanna know the secret lie that the dems don't want you to know? This is one big reason our country is at risk and why our economy sucks.

2% average growth just won't do it dems. You all made some unbelievable claims in 08 and in 12, but here we are wondering if we will ever get out of the mud.

18 trillion in debt and you want to trust the dems policies they put in place that ran them out of town? No thanks, vote business friendly.

Fuck the debt, it's fraudulent. We shouldn't have debt on a national currency backed by nothing, it's a fraud, it's a deception and pure theft. The banking cartel and China can eat a dick.

What is alarming about this though is that amount of money in circulation is just asking for runaway inflation to ensue.

Repudiate the debt. Jail the politicians and bankers who caused this mess.

We need an informed majority to accomplish something like that, something we sadly do not have.

That would be fun, but Bush's policies were not what created that collapse. Nice try though

That collapse was caused by a couple of decades of bipartisan action.

At the same time the administration was trying to get congress to tighten regulations on mortgages to prevent banks from given loans to people who had no means to service them.

Congress, the (Ds), called them racists and chased them off Capital Hill.

Get your facts straight.

And Obama increased it by more than every previous administration combined.

Revenues also more than doubled because of Reagan inspired Cuts in tax rates.

The problem was that the Congress never cut spending like they pledged.

But accuracy in depicting history is something you don't approve of.

By percentage Reagan actually has increased it more.

By sheer numbers, of course Obama has raised it more. But the trend started with Reagan. Bush II also raised it bu a much larger percentage than O has.

Reagan made a deal with Congress and Congress didn't follow through.

T-man got it correct.

Reagan made a deal with Congress and Congress didn't follow through.

One or two dollars in cuts for every dollar raised in taxes. The tax increase was realized, the spending cuts never happened. The congress went on wild spending sprees due to the increases in revenues under Reagan.

If the congress would have followed Reagan's plan, our national debt would be insignificant today. But partisanship was more important.
