Summer solstice tomorrow (http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/585854/Summer-solstice-sunset-Manchester)

Happy summer solstice to those in tune with our Earth! It is tomorrow.

Experts say that a section of Claremont Road, Manchester, could have mystical energy after it was found it lie perfectly on an ancient solar pathway.

The street is in exact alignment with the midsummer sunset - just like the prehistoric landmark Stonehenge.
This means the road will be the perfect spot to admire the sun set on the longest day of the year tomorrow.

A solstice-themed festival will be held in Alexandra Park this weekend, which borders with the road near Whalley Range to celebrate (http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/585854/Summer-solstice-sunset-Manchester#) the height of summer.

It is hard to believe, but it is actually true: After tomorrow, the days begin getting shorter again. (Yes, it is initially imperceptible--it will probably be a couple of months before we really notice--but it is still true.)

We had our usual 2 weeks of spring, 4 weeks of summer and now we are moving into Hell season for the next 2 months.

Sort of hate to see the days get shorter again; usually by July 4th, you start to notice it where I live. As PolWatch said, it's going to be two months of hell season. Truer words were never spoken :)

That's a beautiful picture. The sun looks enormous.
