It's congress that has the purse strings. Yet republicans have been blaming Obama for the past four years for all the deficit spending. And their solution is to waste billions of dollars, by having dozens of stupid votes that they know are futile. They have had 33 votes on destroying health care that all failed. And now they are wasting money having futile votes over the debt ceiling. Until the republicans learn to work with the other half of this country, instead of trying to destroy it, America will keep going down to perdition. That strategy makes for half a country. Obstructionism isn't a solution. Until the cons learn, they will always be morons.

Ok.

Conservative legislation = waste of time and money
Liberal legislation = vital American interests, damn the cost!

Got it...

Extreme liberal thinking is the usual mantra which sucks!

The votes in congress and the bills passed are valid attempts at helping out economy. The "do-nothing senate" won't even discuss most of what the congress has sent them. The senate hasn't passed a budget in years!

Enlightened citizens know the dimocrats are the true culprits!

Working with the other side, as you call it, has brought us to the point of massive fiscal failure, runaway government and a serious loss of personal liberty. It is time to declare war on the other side and sweep them and their failed ideas aside.

The real new idea here is ROLLBACK GOVERNMENT.
