Well We have some bad news, happening around the world. And it appears to be coming to a bit of a head.

Greece elected a far left government that refused to continue reducing the size and cost of their government There banks are in collapse and closed for 6 days!

They refuse to act rationally and they are going to be in default as of tomorrow.

China is suffering from a slowing economy, too much debt and a tumbling stock market.

The USA has very slow growth or decline in the economy, We have millions that can't find jobs and the current government not only does not know what to do, but they are not even looking at the problems.

So Gold is still high at over 1100 dollars and ounce. but Silver? 15.50 an ounce? I think I like some of the shiny stuff right now.

PS for those of you that don't think we can become insolvent in the USA, please look at Greece, that is what 24 trillion in debt looks like for the USA

Gold Yes. Silver took a blood bath and is very low. Large purchase for people wanting to get out. 12.75 and ounce.

I always recommend that people have a small amount of metal, just in case. But rarely for investment.

Though I did double my wealth going into the collapse with metals and did it again coming out by getting back into stocks

How did you come out of that?

I may have shipped gold home from Vietnam. If I had, I would have paid $27/oz.

But, of course, that would have been illegal in the 60s. So I probably didn't. :)

i might have taken my college loan money and bought it at $35/oz in 1973.
