I came up with that myself.

Hunter Treschl had been in the ocean water for only a minute when he felt something glide by his left leg.
The 16-year-old was waist deep in the choppy North Carolina (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/) water and unable to make out the dark shape swimming beneath the surface.
By the time he saw the shark it was too late. Its jaws were already clamped around his arm and it was tearing through the flesh of his bicep.
"The first I saw it was when it was biting up my left arm," Mr Treschl recalled from his hospital bed. He laughed bleakly: "It got that off eventually."
What remained of Mr Treschl's arm - including the left hand with which he wrote and played the violin - was amputated below the shoulder.

Anybody in that area stay safe if you're going for a swim.
Also anybody want to set up a kickstarter with me for "I got bit by a shark in North Carolina and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" t-shirts? We'll save probably ~20% not having to form both short sleeves... :laugh:
